Eat more pork!
That’s not kosher.
“Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Washington”
Oh my, is there no place to hide? I was thinking of moving to northern Idaho or northern Washington...
I kill, gut, skin, and butcher my own.
No worries here.
Mat 15:11 What goes into a man’s mouth does not make him ‘unclean,’ but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him ‘unclean.’ “
And now, for #11: Takes WND Seriously.
Stupid, stupid article. World Net Daily has become World Nut Daily.
“You could be eating beef, chicken, etc., offered up to Allah and not even know it”
LoL. Oh, good gravy. Yeah, that’s a real worry of mine. Lol.
Oh, Brother!

Pass me my bag of pork rinds ...
I personally don't really care whether it's halal or not, because I don't recognize their "god." There is only one God, and "allah" ain't it. So IMO they can face Mecca when they slaughter the animal, or they can face Dubuque, IA. Doesn't mean anything to me. I'm sure we have atheists, wiccans, buddhists, etc. also processing food products. I don't care if they chant druid prayers or bark at the moon, so long as what I'm buying isn't tainted.
And if I want pork products in my food, that's what I'll buy.
Oh good grief
It’s questionable that unknowingly eating meat that’s been gone over with some hand waving and some Moobah Floobah, Shooba Dooba! incantation is going to have spiritual ramifications.
Of course just eat pork and solve all your problems.
Oh, my goodness. What goofballery.
No different than eating Hebrew National hot dogs.
In 1 Corinthians 10, the Apostle Paul lays out what is essentially a “don’t ask, don’t tell policy” regarding meats sacrificed to idols. My take is that Christians should probably not eat meat that they know is halal, but do not need to worry about unknowingly eating it and should not ask if meat is halal.
I won’t eat meat that is labeled or advertised as halal. That said, it might not be completely clear whether halal food is actually “sacrificed” to the muslim moon god when it is blessed in its name.
25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience sake; 26 for the earth is the LORDs, and all its fullness.
27 If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience sake. 28 But if anyone says to you, This was offered to idols, do not eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience sake; for the earth is the LORDs, and all its fullness. 29 Conscience, I say, not your own, but that of the other. For why is my liberty judged by another mans conscience? 30 But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks?
31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. - 1 Corinthians 10:25-31
“You could be eating beef, chicken, etc., offered up to Allah and not even know it.”
Key words, “not even know it”. Regarding things like this, if you don’t know it, you didn’t do it. Eating food that you KNOW was sacrificed to idols is not the same thing as eating food that was “sacrificed to idols” but there was no clue that it had been. The former is all we can control, and all we, as Christians, are responsible for.
One needs to also consider what “sacrificed to idols” really means.
