Evangelical book catalogs promote books such as Planet Earth: The Final Chapter, The Great Escape, and the Left Behind series. Bumper stickers warn us that the vehicles occupants may disappear at any moment. It is clear that there is a preoccupation with the idea of a secret rapture. Perhaps this has become more pronounced recently due to the expectation of a new millennium and the fears regarding potential Y2K problems. Perhaps psychologically people are especially receptive to the idea of an imminent, secret rapture at the present time. Additionally, many Christians are not aware that any other position relative to the second coming of Jesus Christ exists. Even in Reformed circles there are numerous people reading these books. Many of these people are unaware that this viewpoint conflicts with Scripture and Reformed Theology.

i thought Jesus said let your light shine before men. why be afraid to tell us who God is?
I saw some references to UFOs on your home page. So my guess is that you have blended Scientology and the Bible in to a very special religion, and you are its supreme leader on Earth.
Obsession with UFOs and similar esoterica does not necessarily mean Scientology. There are groups and individuals within (sort of) Christianity that make much of them. Nobody whose teaching I would remotely trust.
You would have credibility if you didn’t take verses out of context and misapply them.
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
You know my answer. Is your post really for me?
Hey, Proddys,
What is WITH THIS UNMITIGATEDL BRAZEN CHEEK
IN RELENTLESSLY
ANSWERS to their twerpy questions?
Particularly questions that have been answered multiple times before and often are answered on our home pages?
Is it the Gestapo mentality so rife in the Vatican Alica In Wonderland School Of Theology And Reality Mangling that arrogandly !!!!DEMANDS!!!! the whole world conform to whatever paragraph of the RCC Catechism they happen to be claiming as truth at THAT moment?
Is it their terminal insecurities that can't sleep at night thinking that there's some folks still running around loose who haven't submitted to the new heralded and sought Spanish Inquisition???
Is it some sort of genetic !!!!CONTROL!!!! Phreaque viral infection via the wafer or "holy" water?
Or is it that they just get their jollies running around grabbing Proddys by the throats and demanding whatever their indigestions seem to trigger them to !!!!DEMAND!!!! at the time?
Or are they getting recurrent missives via the White Hankys ordering them to !!!!ORDER!!!! Proddys to
CONFESS WHATEVER to their brazenly haughty interrogations?
Or maybe they just get this warm fuzzy feeling all over every time they fantasize or carry out this verbal grabbing Proddys by their throats in their mental images.
It sure is easy to see how the Spanish Inquisition got started and ran so wild. The mentality seems to be genetically rooted in the INSTITUTION. Clearly the centuries have not greatly softened it.
What a pathetic stinking pile of festering idiotic tripe.
ever heard of “paraphrasing”? not taken out of context, a good deed would be affirming the Trinity. of course, not to a cultist, only a Christian! right?
no, no, i was referring to quix.
Getting back to the topic of the thread, there is a body of thought that one of the explanations offered for the disappearance of the millions taken, is UFO abduction.
Considering the spiritual climate these days and how many have abandoned real faith in Christ and God and substituted anything else, it leaves people wide open for deception through that explanation.
Having an explanation that people are conditioned to accept will be useful in the anti-Christ’s grab of power. What with the UFO phenomena being treated so seriously, I think that many people will fall for that explanation.
“proddys” believe in the Trinity, the One True God, do you?
“real faith in Christ and God” Christ isn’t God?
Scripture reference please.
Or is that your own personal opinion?
And if Quix doesn't answer to your satisfaction, then what?
quid pro quo
I will answer any question you want about my religion. In fact all of my answers are online if I am too slow to reply - just google catechism of the catholic church and pick anything that returns on the first page.
You will not, however, answer this one question about your faith while you relentessly cricize mine.
“sola scriptura leads you to become your own pope,
Met... that made me laugh out loud... you? The LAST thing I’ll be is my own pope!!!! If I *did* become my own pope, I’d have to excommunicate myself while sitting “ex cathedra.”
:D
Hoss
Matthew 28.
are you another Trinity denier?
Some of the REPLACEMENTARIANS are about as dense, stubborn, rigid, uninformed, etc and unbelieving of Basic Scripture about such things as are some RC’s. Amazing.
Which hankies? Oral Roberts' hankies? Peter Popoff's hankies? Rex Humbard's hankies? I'm not sure that Catholics get anything through the 25 dollar Pentecostal hankies.
What a pathetic stinking pile of festering idiotic tripe.
That's one way of putting it.
If you wish to make a point using Scripture, extend the courtesy of posting the verses and not just the references.
I’m not doing your work for you.
