See what I mean about Mormon spin people ? I aske three times a simple question abotu which bible they use, the Joseph Smith Retranslation deemed a fraud by Brigham Young, or the King James Version.

He just typed 30 some-odd words rather than giving a one word straight answer.

How "Harry Reid" of him.

The fact is that the mormons have rejected the "chosen prophet who communed with God"'s "inspired" full "retranslation" of the bible.

lol it is so sad that all the anti-Mormons have is the same old tired and worn out regurgitated propaganda.

Lurkers will note - the "worn out regurgitated propaganda", is from an official lds publication "History of the Church". Additional "worn out regurgitated propaganda", was also published by the mormon church in the Nauvoo Neighbor in 1843. More propagands was published by the lds in the 1904 issue of Improvement Era. Again, more propaganda in the official Church publication, The Comprehensive History of The Church, by B.H. Roberts. Finally, to shorten the list - in 1979 apostle Mark E. Peterson wrote a book called “Those Gold Plates!”. In the first chapter Peterson describes various ancient cultures that have written records on metal plates. Then Peterson claims, “There are the Kinderhook plates, too, found in America and now in the possession of the Chicago Historical Society. Controversy has surrounded these plates and their engravings, but most experts agree they are of ancient vintage.” (page 3, Those Gold Plates, Mark E. Peterson)

Lurkers will note - these are all from LDS sources.

Lurkers will also note - metallurgical tests proved the plates to have been manufactured in the 1800's. Again from a 'propaganda' source -

"As a result of these tests, we concluded that the plate... is not of ancient origin....the plate was etched with acid; and as Paul Cheesman and other scholars have pointed out, ancient inhabitants would probably have engraved the plates rather than etched them with acid. Secondly, we concluded that the plate was made from a true brass alloy (copper and zinc) typical of the mid-nineteenth century: whereas the 'brass' of ancient times was actually bronze, an alloy of copper and tin." -- The Ensign, August 1981, pp. 66-70.

Mormonism believed for 130 years that the plates were authentic and that smith had truely identified them. Now, facts show they were fake and the translation smith started was also fake

Only a fake prophet translates fake plates.

Shown the truth the just obfuscate to the same old tired and worn out obfuscation.

Shown the truth they just yell they don’t see it. Their choice.

When asked to merely show just one truth that we have failed to see, you don't do it. Your choice.
