False Prophets and teachings come from all people from all religions, that is what the *Letter to the 7 Churches* is about in the Book of Revelation..
Churches that teach Jesus is not the only way to GOD or that Marriage can be something other than 1 Man and 1 Woman..
Jesus said by there fruits you will know them...
Obama saying he is a Christian yet denying that Christ is the only path to salvation...
Some people think the Pope is a False Prophet.... Focus on what binds us to Christ not what divides us....
Really? Did Christ tell the Pharisees that they were good because they had so much in common with him? I disagree with your take on what the Bible directs us to do, so do I have to now abide by your standards? Christ warns of false Prophets. This thread is about a false Prophet that has led millions away from the saving grace of His atonement - I should think that would bother you (if you are Christian).
Binds us to Christ? Which one? The mormon one where he was not born of the virgin mary and his father who was once a man? Or the Jesus of the bible?
Did Jesus ever mention that we would be married in heaven or become a god and have our own planet, populating it with celestial babies? Becoming a god is something the devil would promise.
Jesus said to TaraP, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man or woman comes to the Father except by me.” (The LORD Jesus Christ, John 14:6)

Umm...Tara, go back and re read that in context. Jesus is talking about FALSE PROPHETS not believers.
And the ‘fruits’ of Joseph Smith show he is indeed a false prophet. The lies he spread and the heresies he promoted show Smith to be in league with Satan, not God.
Focus on what binds us to Christ not what divides us....

How can we when the LDS believe in a DIFFERENT CHRIST? Their own prophet said so.
Do not confuse CHRISTIAN unity with Universalism (which includes non-Christians).
I say this a lot, but I used to be Mormon. I know their beliefs, their teachings and how they spin things to make those who know nothing or little about Mormonism think they are Christians.
Don’t fall for their propaganda, please. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about Mormonism (with their own sources).
