I was honest on this thread..I do not know about Mormom Doctrine...I DO KNOW THE BIBLE..
Ok; I was wrong.
Early in the thread I made an ASSUMPTION (we know about these; don't we!) that you were yet another OPRAH 'christian' that just wants us all to get along with no fussing.
I ASSUMED that you DID know some MORMON doctrine and considered that it wasn't important as long as we were 'nice' to one another.
I ASSUMED that a 'knowledgable' Christian would know enough to instantly see the ERRORS of MORMONism.
Then you started posting that you really didn't know that much about MORMONism.
Then you posted that MORMONism is beginning to sound like Scientology.
SOMEwhere along in all of that I posted a LOT of BIBLICAL truth about false teachings and those that bring them.
I did this because I saw no BIBLE verses that addressed the FALSE TEACHINGs, but instead some vague NICENESS factor.
So here we are...
The poster has no clue about my knowledge of the Bible, so in essence she accussed me of something that is un-true.
That is Un-Christian....
She's a he, and I DID accuse you of something; based on the evidence I had seen.
There is my reasoning. If that is Un-Christian, well then, I guess I must be a MORMON.
First off, since I chimed in on this thread, I did not do so
with a debate on Mormon doctrine, but a statement on what I admired about some Mormon people...
A fact that they have the least of divorces in the USA along with Orthodox Jews and that they are very family oriented, and committed to helping one another.
I was honest to say, I do not know the teachings of Joseph Smith or Mormon faith.....However I had an opinion on Mormon people and how they lead respectable lives, like the majority of Osmonds, who are committed family people.
Yes I hope to always reflect the light of GOD to other’s and sharing the gospel message without turning them off by coming off as a Holier than Thou Hypocrite Christian.
