All you guys crack me up. Instead of a religious thread or forum they should label it comic relief.Every body arguing and ganging up and choosing sides who they think makes the better “christian”. It is no wonder the more secular population in this country view right wing conservatives as a bunch of kooks.No one seems to find any common ground. It’s either the protestants and the catholics going at the others throat or the ganging up of protestants and catholics against the mormons and then all of the afore mentioned gang up on the agnostic and athiest. Everyone so quick to copy and paste a bible verse or science book to prove their point.Is it so hard to accept some one elses belief as thier path through life without trying to convert them to their own personal view? Like I said, comic relief for the common spectator.
When such a comparison is made to an individual Freeper, personally, then it crosses the line because it is "making it personal."
I also said that when your correspondent is throwing spitwads it means he has no ammunition and you can declare a "win" and walk away.

T, you are one of the most compassionate and loving people I know. You are an absolute joy to be around and are very inspiring in your love and faith.
The weekend we spent together at LifeLight with our husbands last summer is one of my favorite memories ever.

How sad and—if it were possible—embarrassing for you that you glory in collecting such a thing as a trophy of your agenda on FR threads. Perhaps you have forgotten that Christians aren’t perfect, they’re just forgiven for not being perfect ... yet. It is God’s open secret that He is gradually conforming Christians into the image of His Son ... in other words, we Christians are a work in progress. You could be too! He stands outside your door, knocking, and as ‘The Hound of Heaven’ He is very persistent.
Tara, you don’t seem to understand counter cult ministries. As I have posted on this thread, we deal here with Mormon apologists and sympathizers mostly, we are dealing with ‘extraction’ and are thus often in a more conforntational mode.
An impacted tooth (mormonism) must be extracted before the healing (Christ) can occur.
Those who have left will notice that once they no longer believe the lies and heresies of Mormonism we are much more gentle in our witness to them. But when we are extracting them, we are fighting very real demons and this is spiritual warfare, so ‘attack’ we must.
Mormons are NOT our Christian brothers and sisters, and many who jump to their defense either have no clue what they believe or are only nominal Christians.
What we are determined to do, is get people out of Mormonism or keep them from joining. And we have as several people on her have testified.
Be careful not to forward Freepmails without solicitation and permission - except of course to me.

I do not ignore Freepmails and I rarely give complainants status reports.

My point is that trying to prove yourself right, instead of proving the reflection of *Christ* in you, is a mistake IMO...
I say this because no where in the Scriptures do you see Jesus Christ arguing *Torah* with the Pharisees, about why he definetly is the Promised Messiah of Israel...
He did not sit in the temple and say...Pharisees read Isaiah chapter 2, 3 7 on and on..See this proves I am the Messiah...
We are not to *Convince and Prove*...That is not what *Faith* is we are to be a reflection of Christ, so that other’s will want to know the person who has changed our lives, and will want to seek out the *Christ* for themselves...
I can tell you if an (Lurking) Atheist or anyone who does not know Jesus Christ read this *Thread* they would leave saying what a bunch of *Crazy Christians*
I don’t mean to dis-respect anyone here..I just don’t think Christians should attack other Christians, like I have seen done on this thread.
