I just want you to know that I have felt your rumble just under the surface before todays encounter and this too I was right thanks for free me no longer do I have to give the benifit of the doubt.
But I myself have no ill feelings towards you just like to clear the air it is a good feeling to be out in the open!

I was simply pointing out that your assertion that there were no other religions at the time of Christ but Judaism and paganism was incorrect.

As I said I don’t know much about Joseph Smith maybe he is a False Prophet but if Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses and Catholics and Seventh Day Adventist believe Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life, and put there trust in Christ then that is my *Focus* Mormons seem like good family people taking care of there children and I respect that....*The Osmond Family* do not seem like the Spawns of Satan to me...
I thought the “tactic” was tastefully done in a civil and understanding way. Free Rebublic often reveals the lastest news in full view for all to appreciate... or not... Or to believe.. or not. Choice is a Freedom. I rather like the fact this was posted as so...thanks Jim.

Not at all. Just having a hard time accepting some of their threads (like this one for example) that I find extremely offensive. I’m at the point that I’m not going to allow any protected LDS/Mormon Caucus threads on FR. You can’t post offensive stuff like this and expect Christians not to object to it. And I’ll be damned if I’m going to suspend or ban or deny any Christian from objecting to what he believes is the false prophecy of Joseph Smith. Whether Mormons will feel welcome here after this or not is completely up to them individually.
No he did not, and if Mormons believe that, then yes I think they are wrong, however I have only heard the Moromns I know speak of Jesus Christ as the way the truth and the life, I know they had some controversy about baptizing Jews, and I know they were highly ridiculed by the support they gave the Prop 8 Fund in protecting Marraige....
