Do they believe that God COULDN'T protect Mary from sin at the moment of conception? He created Adam and Eve free from sin. Unless I'm mistaken, sin can be covered with an animal sacrifice but only Jesus' (God's) blood could cleanse sin.
If God could simply separate Mary from sin, He wouldn't have needed to die in our place.
As far as the assumption of Mary, what scripture states that it happened? Is there anything, outside of man made tradition that claims this?

You say that God NEEDED to die in our place? He could have saved us by a word. He CHOSE to die in our place, to open a door we could not open.

Are you sayuing that God was bound to do this? And that He was bound to not being able to create someone in a particular way?
