Exactly, Quix.

The Bible teaches that as we get closer to the Rapture of the Church and Christ's literal second coming, people will have "itching ears" and will refuse to "endure sound doctrine", and will "store up for themselves teachers" who will tell them what they want to hear. As we get closer to the Rapture and the literal Second Coming, absolute, inerrant Bible truth will continue to be shut out while more and greater deceptions take hold and become strong and will be believed and touted by more and more deluded souls.

We are witnessing that right now - you can find a good deal of it on FR.

So, if I felt like I belonged to a religion that was growing, and popular, and I felt like I could be smug that dispensationalism appeared to be diminishing, I'd get into my Bible and see that I have nothing to be smug about at all, but a lot to be very worried and concerned about.
