In a seemingly unprecedented move, a group of Amish Christians from the US made widespread use of modern technology - including airplanes, tour buses and even iPhones - in order to come to Israel and apologize to the Jews.
The Amish are most notable to outsiders for their shunning of the technological conveniences that have made life so fast-paced for everyone else. But they did not shy away from using whatever means necessary to accomplish what they viewed as the vitally important task of making things right between their community and Israel.
The Amish, both in the US and Europe, have a long history of anti-Semitism and have traditionally been firm proponents of Replacement Theology, which claims that God cast aside the Jews for their widespread rejection of Jesus as their messiah. Many Amish once believed the Nazi Holocaust was Gods punishment for that rejection of Jesus, and actually applauded Hitler.
We are here to say we are sorry, group leader Ben Girod told Israels Channel 2 News as the group visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem. God reminded me that this is not who He is. We no longer want to reject you or look at you as not being Gods people. You were Gods people long before we were.

Dispensationalism is objectively heretical by the standards of traditional Christianity.

No, you only provided a link to a thread not authored by GiovannaNicoletta with more than 250 posts. Did one of the posts have the documentation? Which one?
The problem is when the Gentile Christians forgot that it was they--not the Jews--who had been graciously adopted into a pre-existing family and began persecuting your adopted brothers for continuing to keep the household rules that had been established 1500 years before your ancestors knew there was only One God. It wasn't enough that you were (arguably, there are some debates to be had here but I won't go into them today) exempted from certain commandments--you jealously persecuted those who continued to keep them, calling them heretics. At that time, the "Hebrew Christians," were forced to either assimilate into what had become a Gentile culture in the churches or were forced out.
The moment Gentile Christians not only forced the Torah-observant Jewish believers from their midst but also declared yourselves to be the "true Israel," the term "replacement theology" became an accurate descriptor. You who call Judaizing Gentiles anathema proudly boast of Gentilizing Jews.
Dispensationalists may not fully understand their adopted status, but at least they acknowledge that the Father who adopted them still loves and will keep His promises to His firstborn son.
Shalom.
I may be able to get to that before my afternoon classes and I may not get to it before late this evening.
ABSOLUTELY INDEED.
What did Christ—or rather, Mashiach—mean to the original Jews who were actually His disciples?
So is Protestantism, depending on your definition of "traditional."
You gave me a good Chanukah LOL with that one...
Many believe that dispensationalism is the remnant There is a discernment of prideful arrogance in the air. Could it be that what you consider

returning to scriptural truth from the Traditions of man.
The article wasn’t written by an Amishman.

If you shun electricity, how are you running that computer on which thee are typing thy poem? Horse drawn generator?
Nothing of consequence, I assure you.
Simple history of Replacement Theology 101
As for dispensationalism well that goes farther back that John Darby also:
maybe you were thinking Justin martyr?
or
Darby but again he was not the first, he just had his own little twist, Darby 101
So, I guess, like others here I do not understand what the heck you are getting at regarding the Amish. People have believed in replacement theology and killed millions of other Christians including millions of Jews in justification they are now the one true children of God, and Israel is no longer the apple of God's eye, but this is easily debunked using scripture. As for dispensationalism, people, pastors and priests and common men and women have been believing in this since the first century AD, or for non believing folks C.E.
Just wow.
Israel and the Jews are the apple of God's eye. HE has never broken the Abrahamic covenant nor the covenant with all generations of Israel since. The church is wholly unique, yet in time, Israel as we can already see through biblical eyes, is where God is once again opening the eyes of the blessed Israelites in these last days. God bless the Amish and others who are allies of Israel and shunned their past beliefs of hatred for the very people that have lovingly preserved the TRUTH for all to see and hear!
Baruch atah O Eretz Israel v todah todah!
Your narrative of Gentiles stamping out Hebrew Christian Torah-observance may sound plausible because of historical situations of Jewish converts being caught in the crossfire between rabbinical Jews and Christians. However, the doctrines and practices of traditional Christianity were firmly established under the tutelage of the Jewish Apostles. It was Paul of Taurus who, not only criticized Greeks for Judaizing, but who castigated Peter himself for relapsing to the Mosaic dietary laws.
Anyway, that is entirely separate from Hagee’s denial that Christ came as reigning Messiah for the Jews. In the Gospels, John the Baptist, the Apostles, and Jesus Himself repeatedly testified to His coming as the Christ (also Messiah and Anointed One, which mean the same). The Messiah was prophesied to both suffer and reign when he came. No where does scripture support John Hagee’s teaching that He came first only to suffer, but would not reign until thousands of years later. Christ has reigned in the hearts of all Christendom for 2000 years and will continue to do so forever.
