Not at all full of self as you judge, but full of God’s Word as I have devoured it like a mad-man for thirty-years and know what it says. I don’t need a church nor a man to tell me what it says. I’ve done the study for myself, and “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” You don’t know me from Adam! It’s in God’s Word that you find and put on the “mind of Christ.” When you spend enough time in it, you too will begin to hear through His ears, see through His eyes, and understand through His mind. You’ll learn to discern good and evil, truth and error. God’s Word is all sufficient for these things. By the way, I’m made no reference to Bible versions, but to the teachings of the catholic church.

Seems more like someone has devoured a mouth full of Satan droppings my friend. Nothing I have seen presented has impressed me. All I see is mindless banter without any intellectual vigor. Frankly, I’m embarrassed for you.

Woohoo -- I know a man who says that his reading of 30 odd years is better than a community of believers reading and studying and devoting their lives to the Bible for 2000 years! My community, my Church, WE learn from, WE learn together. It is never "I, I, I" like the sola MEo crowd.
And what happens when this person who has read for 30 years has a different opinion from another person who has read it for 30 years? They both can't have sola interpretura.
