There are lots of left wing Christians who want to use the power of the State to impose their agenda.

Jesus preached about helping your fellow man...nowhere in the Gospels did he say that Pontius Pilate or the Roman Emperor should do it.

I agree, but Bushes election, and Obama's election to a point show that most Christians will still vote for a person who seems to be what they perceive as good over another they perceive to be of questionable character. That is why the MSM refused to vet Obama. They knew that if they did, he would lose the Christian vote that he actually did quite well with.

So now it would seem that the left is attempting to find a way to formulate their message in a way to grab more Christians to vote Democrat again. Albeit, the survey was taken long before the mid term election took place. Their intent I am sure was the same.

That I believe is why this Putnam and Campbell took this survey. They will use it along with their twisted analysis of the results to formulate an idea of how to make Christians and other religious right individuals to maybe give Obama or the next Democrat nominee another chance.

I believe that is what they did with their last big survey they did in early 2007. Thus Obama was able to fool may Christians into voting for him, but it will not happen again. At least not outside the black Christian churches anyway.
