I really thought politically he was a student of Skousen & Benson now I know this is also the LDS version Also to make it clear I never was for Romney because he was LDS but because I thought he had these core principles.
I could not talk about this before because many would want to make it a Mormon thing or the Mormons are trying to take over which was not true but many would only believe the way they wanted to interpret this.
Now that there is a universal platform for these principles through the cross section of the nation who have common ground in the Tea Party I feel I can tell what was in my heart and many would be able to grasp that without of fear of it no longer being a Mormon thing.

My first introduction to being patriot was in the elementary school just when NEA was being formed but not yet entrenched after that all those good things were diluted or distorted or omitted but I was fortunate to have heard and sung those wonderful those song that were about America.

It really is not fair that because some of us are LDS are getting smeared because of our faith.
LDS believes that man has free agency and not all are going to embrace correct principles sadly some will be lukewarm and some will be outright tares.
I love my faith but I also love this Country and I just happen to a patriot who is also LDS.
Like any one who is a patriot also might be Catholic or Jewish etc.
I have watch carefully to see what Romney would do and sadly he was silent all during the struggles of the Tea Party movement there was never a commitment being voiced.
