What is the source of magic then?

How do magicians do magic?

What "supernatural" source? What is "supernatural?"

Anything outside the natural.

But magic cannot have a natural source or it wouldn't be considered magic.

How do you explain events which defy the known laws of nature? What is the mechanism which supersedes them?

By trickery.

Anything outside the natural.

Like what?

But magic cannot have a natural source or it wouldn't be considered magic

LOL, who says?

How do you explain events which defy the known laws of nature?

Such as?

What is the mechanism which supersedes them?

I don't know of anything that supersedes natural laws. If something exists in nature it is natural whether we understand it or not.
