Why don’t you provide any Scripture to support your contention?
I didn't initially because I believed that you would reject it outright without even considering it. I accept Scripture at face value and do not bend it to conform to some Reformist political tool of oppression. I believe in Eternal Life as a reward for salvation, but not in an immortal soul outside of Salvation. That still might be the case, but for those with an open mind:
1 John 3:14-15 "We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."
1 John 5:11-12 "And this is the testimony. God has given us eternal life, and this Life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life"
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Genesis 3:19 "for dust you are and to dust you will return".
Ezekiel 18:4 "...the soul that sins, it shall die"
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.
