In Christ Alone lyrics

Songwriters: Getty, Julian Keith; Townend, Stuart Richard;

In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm

What heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease My Comforter, my All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless Babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save

?Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live, I live

There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again

And as He stands in victory Sin?s curse has lost its grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ

My fight is not with you but with the evil one that sponsored you.

Do not keep repeatedly making this personal. Post within the rules. If you can't refrain from making personal comments, go somewhere else.

Amen, Dr. E. I’m bookmarking these Scriptures. They speak volumes. Thanks again for giving them!

stop pretending like...your guilt

Reading the mind of another Freeper is a form of "making it personal."

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Dr. E., thanks for listing the assaults against you. May the Lord Jesus Christ defend you and reward you now and always. Thank you for all that you do to serve Him. You have my respect. Love, Joya

Do NOT make this thread “about” individual Freepers.

Christ is omnipresent.

Of course, but He's not in some cracker because the RCC says He's there. That's quite demeaning to even think so. Remember, we are to OBEY HIM, not the other way around. The RCC is known for it's demeaning and deceptive teachings - evil knows no bounds.

With their co-redeemer status placed on Mary - is just another of their demeaning and deceptive tactics.

And only the deceived will fall for it.

LOLOL. An internet exorcism. What a hoot. I'm surprised to be the object of this insane superstition, but confident that "all things work for the good of those who love God and are the called according to His purpose."

An internet exorcism. That just about says it all, doesn't it? When confronted by the word of God, RCs cringe and seek refuge in pagan rituals and deceitful fear-mongering.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel." -- Isaiah 5:20-24

Why on earth would you remove a prayer said for the soul of another Freeper? To pray for one another is the kindest act of all, is it not?

I realize, Natural Law, that God most certainly understands Latin. However, most people on FR don’t. What is the point of this?

St. Paul wrote: “I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; yet in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may teach others also, than ten thousand words words in a tongue.” (1 Corinthians 14:18-19)

Granted you graced us with a mere 5230 words in a tongue (per Microsoft Word) that the overwhelming majority of readers will not understand, but the point Paul makes remains. Who is being exalted here? Who is being helped? Whose plain and clear will is being flouted?

In short, what a pointless and inconsiderate thing to do ... and you gained not one bit of respect from any ... and whether you yourself understand Latin is rendered a moot point. Knowledge and learning are wonderful ... but not when used as an elitist club to bludgeon those supposed to be rabble (for sometimes the rabble knows more than you think).

Do not ever post an excorcism as if a prayer for another Freeper. And do not ever post in a foreign language without also translating it to English.

"God most certainly understands Latin. However, most people on FR don’t."

It was a prayer to God, not the other Freepers, though enough do understand or recognize it and it is the language I learned the prayer in. I would have expected that with so many professing to know the dogma of the Church sufficiently to criticize it would have to be fluent in Latin to have gained that knowledge.

Do you doubt it would have been received any better had it been offered in English? After all we are inundated with length quotes of Calvin and the Westminster Catechism on these threads that are not deleted.

I hate to be to one to break it to you, but witches aren't real and for all we know neither is Dr. E. Dr. E is an online personae that for all we know it could be a he, a she, a committee or a department in the Peoples Army of China. You are defending a virtual character.

From someone who could be a he, a she, a committee or a department in the Peoples Army of China or some other virtual character. We don't know that you're a real person either.

As for rebuke, you are welcome to your opinion, but it is meaningless to anyone other than you. You also have no ability or power to invoke God in your own petty outbursts. Shame on you.

Likewise, I'm sure.....

Matthew 5:10-12 "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

You will have great reward Dr. E.
