Manly Hall never went through the Blue Lodge initiation nor any of the Scottish Rite path to become a 33 degree Scottish Rite Mason, he claims the 33 degree was conferred upon him.
______________________________________________

You appear to know what you are talking about when you refer to the Scottish Rites etc...

The founder of mormonism, Joey Smith, went straight to 33rd degree in one day...

is that normal ???

and then he betrayed his oaths by telling the secrets to non-Masons and using the ceremonies, though corrupted in his own religious ordinances...

There is said to have been Freemasons in the crowd outside the Carthage jail where he was held for cause...

Is it possible that they may have killed him for betraying the blood oaths ???

(Besides the fact that he was shooting at them..)

Absolutely not, there are only three true degrees of Freemasonry, called the blue lodge. One must go through those degrees and become a Master Mason before they can join and progress in affiliated bodies like the Shriners or Scottish Rite. These are lifetime achievements, not anything that can be achieved in one decade, at that one day. During the time that Smith and others were around, there was a lot of positioning to be part of fraternal organizations (as well as opposition to them). Fraternal organizations were far more entrenched in politics during that time as they helped guide members who may not have a strong education, to be better men through service. Of course, it also sprung up a lot of opposition as well. The "Anti-Mason" party was the first third party in the US. It is no surprise that some with too much unbridled ambition would seek shortcuts or make false claims about affiliations.

BTW, I have no idea about Smith’s history being a shortcut, the prior statement was about Hall of whom, it was pretty well known not to be a true Mason. Even his own biography says as much.
