Years ago a fellow worker on a job in Utah befriended me, but I found he was only friendly because he wanted to conert me. The job was forty miles from town and I accepted aride home in his pickup when he started preaching. After that I drove my own truck to work.
As Christians we are to be ambassadors for Christ. That is an obligation of a Christian. That's OK if your audience isn't captive audience. I am a Jew and we decided long ago no to try to convert others. If they come asking to join us, we welcome them, but if not we respect them.

And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
