[MHGinTN muses]

You have a fascinating way of covering your eyes and ears so the truth will not get into that darkness you prefer. But, alas, you will not deter those who have been sent to warm you of destruction.

[Stourme explains]

1. Your arguments are wrong.

2. Your arguments are circular.

Some points to consider...

1. We Latter-day Saints talk about the merits of our Church. We may state that we believe the others are wrong and why. But as a rule we don't bash. But then we go back to talking about the merits of our Church, Christ, God the Father, etc... which is exactly what Christ did.

2. Anti-Mormons don't talk about their church. They only talk about mine. They say the most vile, offensive, and unkind things about me and the things I hold dear. Which Christ wouldn't do. -But the devil would.

3. The Anti-Mormons have nothing to offer but hollow platitudes. Devoid of anything truly Christ like. How in the world then, could I possibly believe that your doctrine is true?

4. Jesus Christ never even reviled against Satin or the unclean spirits He encountered. So how can I believe people who say vile, offensive, snotty, rude, and unkind things about me and the people I love... are inspired by Christ?

5. The two don't mix. The fact that some anti-Mormons claim that bashing my beliefs 24/7 is their "ministry" is a serious sign. Christ would never inspire someone to do that. That type of "ministry" drives people away, it doesn't invite people to Christ. Therefore it's not of Him. Period.

Compare the conference talks and messages of LDS Church leaders with the messages of the anti-Mormons.

1. Just this past Oct conference for instance, our leaders taught principles of faith in Christ, hope, charity, love, and morality.

What is the anti-Mormon message? Cult cult cult cult!! OOOoooOOO!!

If I'm trying to find the love of Christ, in which group would I find it?

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

In other words, you can judge someone by what they produce. The only fruits created by the anti-mormon is contention.

[MHGinTN continues]

you will not deter those who have been sent to warm you of destruction.

[Stourme muses]

And how were these people sent, did they have a..... feeling?

Acts 5:38 - 39

38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

The commandment of God is clear on the subject. However, people are free to choose for themselves... until the judgment.

The fruit of false doctrine is spiritual death. Mormons have a false jesus, a 'doctrines of men' jesus, fashioned by Mormon leadership to support the heresy of polygamy, as shown in post #743. The following is what a Christian is instructed, by Jesus The Christ, not the jesus of Mormonism:

Matthew 24:23&24 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13:21&22 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

When a Mormon seeks to share the jesus exposed in post #743, refer to the scripture teaching of The Jesus of the Bible. Salvation cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God; Not the lying word of a false peepstone predator of married women; Not the false teachers such as quoted above teaching the Mormon jesus as polygamist, a sired spirit child of a man who 'gained the attributes of godhood' and was appointed to be the god of the earth.

Stourme, read what John 1 has to say about the light of men ... that Light is not a polygamist, not the created son of a promoted-by-council-of-gods god among myriad gods.

Spiritual fruit is discerned by The Spirit, not paraded in prideful fashion. You can read what the fruit of the spirit is.

Mormon spiritual fruit is rotten, bringing spiritual death to those trapped in the cult. Outward behavior may be deemed goodness, but the heart is read in Truth by the Holy One.

A good Hindu is as good, outwardly, as any good Mormon. But reading outward behavior and assuming inward Life is a ruse. You should know that since you keep trying to get readers to see the outward behavior and avoid the spiritual rot at the heart of Mormon doctrines.

Epic fail, Stormy. You have taken Jesus out of context.

Christ is talking about the fruits of PROPHETS, how to tell a true from a false prophet, not of behavior of believers.

And the ‘fruit’ of Smith is rotten indeed.

Myself; I'm kinda partial to the Tares and the Wheat parable.

Huh?

I know that you MORMONs tend to jump right over the things we ANTIs post; but the lurkers don't.

THEY will not be fooled by what you choose NOT to see.

Bible verse compared to MORMON quotes have a GREAT outreach, and we thank YOU for giving us fodder to munch on.
