And only Mormon companies make the garments.

And 'Christian' companies tend to put the 'fish' symbol somewhere to be seen.

I wonder what 'Mormon' companies do?

Black Vail, I, too, will say that I’ve never personally known a liberal Mormon except my coke drinking in-laws. Most Mormons are hard working people who don’t believe in the government hand outs. In fact, the ones I’ve known live more “Christ like” that many Christians I’ve known.

Elsie,

Companies that “call” themselves “Chritian” most likely display the fish. But the fish symbals are made by many companies and they don’t have to be “members” of a particular sect.

I worked for a Chrstian man once who said he told every employee that if some salesman came through the door with a “fish” on the back of his business card they’d better watch out. My saying is “Jesus did not wear a T-shirt with a big number “l” on the front.”

And none of this has anything to do with the fact that all Mormons MUST buy the garments through the church and they have to have been made by a Mormon company. Jews and Christians practice free enterprise.

Speaking of garments, I came across a reference to an early endowment ceremony where they the garment markings while the person was wearing them DEEP ENOUGH TO PENETRATE THE FLESH. IOW, early Mormon endowments had blood letting.

Working right now to get a copy of the journal so I can scan it to post pictures of the text.
