There is no basis of truth to that claim whatsoever:
Anyone who knows ANYTHING about Mormonism would know otherwise.
There are a number of those here, ex Mormons who now contend for the truth. They do know a thing or two about Mormonism because they lived it and study it even now.
From your link, the very first statement:
We declare it is self-evident from the scriptures that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are separate persons, three divine beings.
Anyone who knows ANYTHING about Christianity knows that this is not a Christian belief.
Polytheism went out of fashion with Zeus and Jupiter.
Ironic thing is the LDS's own publications prove points like those made by Reaganaut.
MORMONs claim to worship ONE god.
And that ONE god happens to have TWO physical bodies.
That they believe in a different Christ??? I apparently know much more about Mormonism than you do.
The LDS christ is a created being, who had to earn his Godhood, wasn’t always God and the Spirit brother of all of us including Lucifer. Your leaders have also taught that God had sex with Mary to conceive Jesus.
The Christ of the Bible is begotten not made, eternally God, didn’t have to come get a body to fulfill his ‘second estate’ and is NOT the product of sexual relations.
Want me to provide quotes of these teachings?? I can and will.
