ROTFL....
Gotta get "suStain" in there somewhere!
A cult like sect that believes one must stay in a moist, dark place before finding ones purpose...
And don't get me started on what happen when paper napkins first were invented...
Oh that cult is so transparent. They’re everywhere, even in Kentucky Fried bags. Now they’re even found in WalMarts! They can’t get a proper Table Recommend with that kind of common-ness. Besides, the Water Bowl denomination won’t recognize them because of their strange chemicals.
Oh no! We’re not straying off into ‘sex cults’, no sustains in this discussion.
I need to remember what Jesus said to His Father in heaven forgive them for they know not what they do!
The god of Momronism, according to your own founders of your peculiar religion, claim the god you worship was once a mana nd through exaltation gained the attributes of godhood, then sired a jesus and Lucifer, who, as brothers before some council of gods, presented plans to redeem humankind, and the council apparently chose Jesus over Lucifer and he too became a god through exaltation, to sahre a troika committee of godhood as the god council over Mormonism's fraudulent version of salvation, a salvation which requires Mormons to earn it, with a slim expectation that if they too are good enough they can gain the attributes of god and be gods over other planets. That about it, Resty?
BTW, Resty, can you explain how a Latin name was in the 600BC version of Isaiah your false peepstone prophet claimed to have written down in the fictional Book of Mormon?
This is the what has always puzzled me the focus is on, it is not acceptable to accuse another Freeper of telling a lie
to say one is lying seems to be a greater wrong than those who provoke by implying that Mormons....
The mormons claim that when they take over the country (and the world) we will all be made to convert to mormonism
To me it is the subject matter to Kill or murder others is a vile things to say and is stirring the pot of great hatred towards the LDS.
________
Is there some slaughter of non-Mormons that is supposed to occur?

In a way yes..
The mormons claim that when they take over the country (and the world) we will all be made to convert to mormonism
Joseph Smith or the sword
I will be to this generation a second Mohammed, whose motto in treating for peace was the Alcoran [Koran] or the Sword. So shall it eventually be with usJoseph Smith or the Sword (Joseph Smith, during a speech in the public square at Far West, Missouri on October 14, 1838)
_____________
Yet one of the principles in the Article of Faith of the LDS faith is free agency for all be they LDS or another faith or none!
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
Now I know it is a combination of issues some was to address RegulatorCountry
While at the same time wonder how the RM feels when someone has shown and out right posted their motive on many threads stating out right stated their motives towards the LDS.
So how can it be wrong to call one on it when they have deliberately take liberties because of contempt towards another faith do everything possible to annihilate in the name of God!
In all due respect
Bump that!
huh?
That was even confusing by Restorian standards...
and didn’t even ping the person she quoted!
Just as well, keep the confusion contained...
the old ‘if you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with....’?
Don’t give ‘em too much credit...
Hi Reaganaut,
We Latter Day Saints believe in the very same Christ we read about in the New Testament.
We teach and testify that following the early Church’s falling into apostasy that this Jesus Christ has restored the fullness of the Gospel to the earth through a modern day prophet, Joseph Smith.
Regards,
Normandy
A table recommend!\

Interview questions
1. Have you washed your hands ???
2. Are you sure ???
3 Did you use soap ???
:)
So...normandy, you then are saying...that all Church's before J. Smith's time are in error. Or in apostasy...as you and Smith have said. Correct?
Yes, or no?
And you said specifically..."this Jesus Christ". Is there more than one?
Now that was funny....and I will use it.
----"The Doctrine and Covenants clarifies this doctrine in a record of the vision of heaven of Prophet Joseph Smith:
And this we saw also, and bear record, that an angel of God who was in authority in the presence of God, who rebelled against the Only Begotten Son whom the Father loved and who was in the bosom of the Father, was thrust down from the presence of God and the Son,
And was called Perdition, for the heavens wept over himhe was Lucifer, a son of the morning. And we beheld, and lo, he is fallen! is fallen, even a son of the morning!
And while we were yet in the Spirit, the Lord commanded us that we should write the vision; for we beheld Satan, that old serpent, even the devil, who rebelled against God, and sought to take the kingdom of our God and his Christ
Wherefore, he maketh war with the saints of God, and encompasseth them round about (Doctrine and Covenants 76:2529).
----Mormon teaching on the Pearl of Great Price says:
(Pearl of Great Price: Book of Moses 4:1-4)
It is readily apparent from these scriptures that there was a war in heaven in which Christ and Satan (Lucifer) fought against each other, and that there were followers of each. Satan was defeated and cast out along with his angels or followers. Where were all these followers, and who were they? The answer is that they were us. Christ and Satan and their followers warred in a heaven that pre-existed this earth and mortal existence. All of us lived in this heavenly spiritual realm before we were born with physical bodies on the earth. Christ was begotten of the Father, as were all of us, including Lucifer, who was a Son of the Morning. The title Son of the Morning could either signify that Lucifer was one of the earliest born of the spirits, or was illustrious, or both. The name Lucifer means lightbearer or shining one. Since both Christ and Lucifer were born of the Father, they are brothers in a spiritual sense, as all of us are brothers and sisters in that sense
Endowed with agency and subject to eternal laws, man began his progression and advancement in pre-existence, his ultimate goal being to attain a state of glory, honor, and exaltation like the Father of spirits. During his earth life he gains a mortal body, receives experience in earthly things, and prepares for a future eternity after the resurrection when he will continue to gain knowledge and intelligence. (D. & C. 130:18-19.) This gradually unfolding course of advancement and experience -- a course that began in a past eternity and will continue in ages future -- is frequently referred to as a course of eternal progression.
It is important to know, however, that for the overwhelming majority of mankind, eternal progression has very definite limitations. In the full sense, eternal progression is enjoyed only by those who receive exaltation. Exalted persons gain the fullness of the Father; they have all power, all knowledge, and all wisdom; they gain a fullness of truth, becoming one with the Father. All other persons are assigned lesser places in the mansions that are prepared, and their progression is not eternal and unlimited but in a specified sphere. There will be truths such persons never learn, powers they never possess. They are "ministering servants, to minister for those who are worthy of a far more, and an exceeding, and an eternal weight of glory," and they so continue "to all eternity, and ... forever and ever." (D. & C. 132:16-17.)
Those who gain exaltation, having thus enjoyed the fullness of eternal progression, become like God. It should be realized that God is not progressing in knowledge, truth, virtue, wisdom, or any of the attributes of godliness. He has already gained these things in their fullness. But he is progressing in the sense that his creations increase, his dominions expand, his spirit offspring multiply, and more kingdoms are added to his domains. (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, pp. 5-10.)
----Mormonism teaches that godhood is something of grandfathers and great grandfathers, and great great grandfathers, etc, so the present god of Earth is an appointee of a god council!
"We were begotten by our Father in Heaven; the person of our Father in Heaven was begotten on a previous heavenly world by His Father; and again, He was begotten by a still more ancient Father; and so on, from generation to generation, ... we wonder in our minds, how far back the genealogy extends, and how the first world was formed, and the first father was begotten" (Orson Pratt, The Seer, p.132).
"Some people are troubled over the statements of the Prophet Joseph Smith.... The matter that seems such a mystery is the statement that our Father in heaven at one time passed through a life and death and is an exalted man. This is one of the mysteries.... The Prophet taught that our Father had a Father and so on. Is not this a reasonable thought, especially when we remember that the promises are made to us that we may become like him?" (Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, pp.10, 12).
----Mormonism founders taught that Jesus was not only married, but that he was a polygamist like Smith and Young, etc.!
"Jesus was the bridegroom at the marriage of Cana of Galilee...We say it was Jesus Christ who was married, to be brought into relation whereby he could see his seed [children] before he was crucified (Orson Hyde, Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 82).
"There was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and on a careful reading of that transaction, it will be discovered that non less a person that Jesus Christ was married on that occasion. If he was never married, his intimacy with Mary and Martha an the other Mary also whom Jesus loved, must have been highly unbecoming and improper to say the best of it." (Orson Hyde, Journal of Discourses, vol. 4, p. 259).
"In the Church councils, it was spoken of: "Joseph F. Smith_ He spoke upon the marriage in Cana of Galilee. He thought Jesus was the bridegroom and Mary and Martha the brides."(Journal of Wilford Woodruff, July 22, 1883).
"The grand reason of the burst of public sentiment in anathemas upon Christ and his disciples, causing his crucifixion, was evidently based upon polygamy, according to the testimony of the philosophers who rose in that age. A belief in doctrine of a plurality of wives caused the persecution of Jesus and his followers. We might almost think they were Mormons (Jedediah Grant, Journal of Discourses, vol. 1, p. 346).
"One thing is certain, that there were several holy women that great loved Jesus, such as Mary and Martha her sister, and Mary Magdalene; and Jesus greatly loved them and associated with the much; and when he arose from the dead, instead of first showing himself to his chosen witnesses, the Apostles, He appeared first to these women, or at least to one of them--namely, Mary Magdalene. Now, it would be very natural for a husband in the resurrection to appear first to his own dear wives, and afterwards show himself to his other friends. If all the acts of Jesus were written, we no doubt should learn that these beloved women were his wives." (Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 159).

So, Norm, is that polygamist jesus the one you worship, the one your leadership in Mormonism taught?
