Did you go high enough into the mountains to go after furbearing trout?

My sons didn't get to the furbearing trout but they had their 8-year-old sister convinced of jackalope this summer when we were driving through Wyoming. The clincher was the gas stop where the convenience store had a jackalope head mounted and the postcards in the rack. At that point, I pulled the plug on the joke.

Since turn-about is fair play, maybe I should take my sons snipe hunting...

You clearly need to educate your sons. The plains jackalope of Wyoming is different from the mountain jackalope of Montana/Idaho. Commonly misunderstood by Wyomingites. LOL.
