“Different Jesus, different Christ. “

Hi, Syncro! You are right. Your Jesus and your Christ are different from mine. Your Jesus is condemning and small. My Jesus loves me, accepts me, and is my Very Best Friend. He is my Savior and I love Him with all my heart. My Jesus is the Head of the Church. My Jesus was sent by His Father to suffer and die on the cross to save me from my sins. My Christ is the Anointed One of Israel.

By the way, the word “trinity” is not found in any version of the Bible. It is a man-made concept.

I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Your Jesus is condemning and small. My Jesus loves me, accepts me, and is my Very Best Friend.

How is paying off your debt to this Jesus working SD.

He is my Savior and I love Him with all my heart.

MORONI 10:32: “Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.”

ALMA 45:16: “…for the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance.”

DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 25:15: “Keep my commandments U>continually, and a crown of righteousness thou shalt receive. And except thou do this, where I am you cannot come.”

DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 58:43: “By this ye may know if a man repenteth of his sins—behold, he will confess them and forsake them.”

ALMA 11:37: “And I say unto you again that he cannot save them in their sins; for I cannot deny his word, and he hath said that no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore, how can ye be saved, except ye inherit the kingdom of heaven? Therefore, ye cannot be saved in your sins.”

This is what your Jesus speaks to you SD, are you completely free of sin or do you have to continually repent and seek forgiveness (Joseph Smith said: “Repentance is a thing that cannot be trifled with every day. Daily transgression and daily repentance is not that which is pleasing in the sight of God.” —Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 148 ) Your Jesus says you must be completely free of sin BEFORE his grace can do anything for you SD - read the passages above from your 'scriptures' SD. Your Jesus cannot save you in your sin.

Elder Boyd K. Packer wrote in "Gospel Principles (1992) regarding your Jesus - "‘If I pay your debt, will you accept me as your creditor?’ ‘Oh yes, yes,’ cried the debtor. ‘You saved me from prison and show mercy to me.’ ‘Then,’ said the benefactor, ‘you will pay the debt to me and I will set the terms. It will not be easy, but it will be possible.”

How goes the payment of this debt as well as maintaining a sin free life by your merits SD? Have you done “all you can do” to pay your sin-debt to Jesus?

In the Book of Mormon, Jesus brought death and destruction with him to the Cross. In 3 Nephi, Chapters 8 and 9, it details the events testifying of Christ's crucifixion. It describes the desolation of the great city of Zarahemla by fire, and the city of Moroni "did sink into the sea and the inhabitants thereof were drowned... the earth was carried up upon the city of Mornihah...there was great and terrible destruction in the land southward......terrible destruction in the land northward....the highways were broken up....many great and noble cities were sunk and many burned and many shaken till the buildings thereof had fallen to the earth.....all these great and terrible things were done in the space of three hours."

Here are links to the Official LdS BoM chapters that detail these events:

3 Nephi 8

3 Nephi 9

3 Nephi, Chapter 9, tells of further wrath as the Lord also destroyed the cities and inhabitants of Gigal, Onihah, Mocum, Jerusalem, Gadiandi, Gadiomnah, Jacob, Gimgimmo, Jacobugath, Laman, Josh, Gad, and Kishkumen. (a total of 16 major cities) Who did all this killing to testify of our Lord's atonement on Calvary?

3 Nephi 9:15 reveals the murderer of approximately 2 million innocent inhabitants of the Book of Mormon lands, "Behold, I am Jesus Christ the son of God. I created the heavens and the earth and all things that in them are." He adds, (in verse 21), "behold, I have come unto the world to bring redemption unto the world to save the world from sin." I guess the easiest way was to kill almost every living creature; at least the vast majority of that portion of his "other sheep have I." This Jesus was a god of wrath, exercising some form of Old Testament Judgment by the one who was supposed to be the end of the law.

The Biblical Jesus cried out to His Father,

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

My, what a contrast.

2 Cor.11:3-5 tells us that there will be those who would teach a different Christ. Paul says of them, "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ".

Yet when shown the passages from the BoM of what a destructive, cruel and murderous christ you worship....crickets.

Why is that Sandy? It is recorded in the BoM that the mormon christ massacred 100's of thousands men, women and children (possibly millions) and destroyed at least 16, if not more cities.

Yet the Christ of the Bible pleaded for Father to "...forgive them for they know not what they do."?

Which Christ Sandy?

Which one is it that you worship again?

“By the way, the word “trinity” is not found in any version of the Bible. It is a man-made concept.”

You continue to post the same false arguments over and over.

The word Bible isn’t in the Bible either - you just used it.

None of Mormonism is in the Bible. You love it.
Magic underwear isn’t in the Bible. You wear it.
Polytheism isn’t in the Bible. Your group teaches it.

Try again.

And neither can be found in the bible...the word "mormon". A man-made concept too?

Ya know....S.D. you really don't know the bible very well. But you think you know "the Church" pretty well.
