The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: 'When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.' (2 Sam. 23:3-4)

Father, I again lift up my prayers for the upcoming elections. This year Lord, allow people to come to power who are more receptive to all of the conservative principles, promoted by the Tea Party. Many candidates this year may have a lack of “political experience”, but I believe they are open to Your influence, and thus will remain consistent to the U.S Constitution

Thank You, Hiskid, For Leading Us In Prayer! I am SO Glad We Have "Early Voting" in S. Florida. I could not stand the Suspense! Even So, The Polls were VERY Crowded, with Smiling, Positive, Working-Class People, who were Eager to Vote. It was a Good Sign. And OUTSIDE were people Campaigning for Conservative Candidates. Many Folks were going up to them and shaking their hands! A Rare sight in South Florida! The Times, They Are A-Changin'! Continuing To Pray In Jesus Name For The Safety, Discernment, and Wisdom of the American People! In Jesus Name, Amen

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, He exalts another.
Psalm 75:6-7

The need for recognition and importance has never been more obvious than in the 2010 election season. What so few candidates and pundits seem to understand is that God knows the heart and will judge according to motive. He knows the sinful limitations of man, yet it is by His grace and power that He exalts men and women to positions of esteem - or brings them down.

Pray that the Lord will lift up candidates for office whose significance is firmly ensconced in Him - not human neediness.
