So which is to be given the primary and which is to be the secondary or supporting role, the words given directly to us by Christ or those filtered through Paul?

So today they are filtered through Rome.. right..Papal INFALLIBILITY and all

Paul , unlike your pope, was hand selected by Christ to be the primary teacher/catechist of the church .

We know that God selected Paul, we know that his letters were considered inspired scripture at the time they were written, we know that the Holy Spirit led men to include them in the scriptures as INSPIRED AND INFALLIBLE and as much from the mouth of God as the words of Christ.

Now maybe catholics do not like that ..but to that I say tough

"Paul , unlike your pope, was hand selected by Christ to be the primary teacher/catechist of the church."

If you are trying for the record for the most errors in a single post you are getting close.

1) The Vatican and Rome are two completely different entities.

2) The pope is selected by the Holy Spirit through Apostolic Succession. I don't expect you to admit it because doing so would reveal the vacuousness of your entire Calvinist dogma.

2) Papal Infallibility is not a carte blanche and has only been exercised twice. To present it as anything else is completely disingenuous.

4) The Church does recognize the Letters of Paul as both inspired and infallible, but not your interpretations of them. The interpretation is valid ONLY when it supports and affirms the Gospels. Any other interpretation is false, heretical and possibly blasphemous.
