I am still, however; waiting for an answer concerning it's "infallibility" according to the published formula.
FWIW I have asked the same question many times in the past few years and have yet to receive a reasoned answer.
I do have my own well reasoned logic to explain the absence of a definitive answer:
THERE IS NO CATHOLIC TEACHING WHICH IS SO CLEAR IT CANNOT BE DENIED, MODIFIED, OR RE-INTERPRETED AS REQUIRED!
Are you so predisposed as to accept the Word of God or is your neck so stiff and heart so hardened as to reject the message of our savior? Catholicism is a 2000 year old Bride of Christ not some fly by night protestant outfit constantly branching off in different heretical directions as the Lutherens are currently accomplishing .
The deposit of faith is entrusted to His Bride for interpretation and dissemination not to some who see UFO’s in Fatima. If protestants fail to comprehend simple Catholic teaching how then can they claim to interpret scripture correctly?
THERE IS NO CATHOLIC TEACHING WHICH IS SO CLEAR IT CANNOT BE DENIED, MODIFIED, OR RE-INTERPRETED AS REQUIRED!Why the anger? What bothers you so terribly about my Catholic faith?
THERE IS NO CATHOLIC TEACHING WHICH IS SO CLEAR IT CANNOT BE DENIED, MODIFIED, OR RE-INTERPRETED AS REQUIRED!
Boy is that for sure—backed up by a huge pile of white hankys.
So, as a comparison, what is the Unitarian view, and/or your view, on the divinity of Christ?
