Your cohort, Natural Law, said he had invented a drinking game called DRECK which called for a drink every time I used the term "Rome." I posted "Rome," and Natural Law responded with "Cheers." This, even after he told us his parents were both alcoholics.
So I posted to him Wikipedia's entry on "alcoholism." It doesn't look like the type of thing one should be joking about, especially considering the fact he is the child of alcoholics.
For the record, I do not drink. An occasional glass of white wine at New Years Eve puts me to sleep. I prefer caffeine.

Just a couple of problems with your posting:
1) It is an obligation that you ping those you name or discuss. I have heard you rails against those not doing this where you are involved. Is this another instance in which you think the rules don't apply to you because FR recognizes your status as one of the "elect"?
2) Your time-line is significantly off. I didn't disclose that my parents were alcoholics until well after I had posted the "cheers" comment.
3) The RM has already advised me that the posting was making this personal and I obliged. Do you feel the mods are so remiss that you have to are obliged pile on?
