“I’d say they are ‘worldly’.”

I would too!

Next church up:

Creflo Augustus Dollar, Jr. is an American Word of Faith teacher, pastor, and the founder of the non-denominational World Changers Church International based in Fulton County, Georgia.[1] Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (formerly called International Covenant Ministries), Creflo Dollar Ministries, and Arrow Records.[2] Each of these enterprises is overseen by Dollar and his wife, Taffi Dollar.

Dollar is known for his controversial teachings of Prosperity theology.[9] He has been criticized for his lavish lifestyle as he owns two Rolls-Royces, a private jet, a million dollar home in Atlanta, and a 2.5 million dollar home in Manhattan.[9] Dollar has refused to disclose his salary and Creflo Dollar Ministries received a grade of “F” for financial transparency by the organization MinistryWatch.[9][13]

Prosperty Gospel?

Prosperity theology (also known as prosperity doctrine, the health and wealth gospel, or the prosperity gospel) is a religious belief found among “tens of millions”[1] of Christians, primarily in the United States, centered on the notion that God provides material prosperity for those he favors.[2] It has been defined by the belief that “Jesus blesses believers with riches”[1] or more specifically as the teaching that “believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth and that they can obtain these blessings through positive confessions of faith and the ‘sowing of seeds’ through the faithful payments of tithes and offerings.”[3] In the words of journalist Hanna Rosin, the prosperity gospel “is not a clearly defined denomination, but a strain of belief that runs through the Pentecostal Church and a surprising number of mainstream evangelical churches, with varying degrees of intensity.”[1][2] It arose in the United States after World War II championed by Oral Roberts and became particularly popular in the decade of the 1990s.[1] More recently, the theology has been exported to less prosperous areas of the world, with mixed results.[4]

Pentecostal

“Pentecostalism is a renewal movement within Christianity that places special emphasis on a direct personal experience of God through the baptism in the Holy Spirit.[1] The term Pentecostal is derived from Pentecost, a Greek term describing the Jewish Feast of Weeks. For Christians, this event commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus Christ, as described in the second chapter of the Book of Acts.[2] Pentecostals tend to see their movement as reflecting the same kind of spiritual power, worship styles and teachings that were found in the early church. For this reason, some Pentecostals also use the term Apostolic or full gospel to describe their movement.

Pentecostalism is an umbrella term that includes a wide range of different theologies and cultures.[3] For example, many Pentecostals are Trinitarian and others are Nontrinitarian.[4] As a result, there is no single central organization or church that directs the movement. Many Pentecostal groups are affiliated with the Pentecostal World Conference”

That’s a huge, unbridgeable gulf: Trinitarian and Nontrinitarian.

It’s completely, diametrically opposed and cannot be reconciled.

*Much like the support and accord Unitarians and non-Catholic Christians evince in being anti-Catholic.

No accord, but aligned in their hate.
