Then why is it RC's don't know and believe The Gospel?
On everyone of these never ending threads RC's get asked this most fundamental question and they can't answer it. The answer is obvious to me your church teaches a different gospel. Your church takes elements of The Gospel and adds "buts", "maybe's" and "also's".
I can't do anything to help those that are in darkness other than preach The Gospel and pray that the Holy Spirit quickens those that listen. The rest who have placed their faith in bricks, rituals, and customs are as damned as the rest of the world's unbelievers.
So which is it. The "RC'" don't know and believe the Gospels or we put too much credence in them at the expense of the Old Testament and the letters of St. Paul as has been the accusation on this thread for the last couple of weeks.
It would seem from the attacks that you non-Catholics have a lot more division within your own camp to work out before you begin throwing stones.
They do answer, they just get ignored. You guys actually do more damage to your own cause than to the Catholic Church.
Well put:
On everyone of these never ending threads RC’s get asked this most fundamental question and they can’t answer it. The answer is obvious to me your church teaches a different gospel. Your church takes elements of The Gospel and adds “buts”, “maybe’s” and “also’s”.
I can’t do anything to help those that are in darkness other than preach The Gospel and pray that the Holy Spirit quickens those that listen. The rest who have placed their faith in bricks, rituals, and customs are as damned as the rest of the world’s unbelievers.
We know the Gospel demonstrably better than the sola crowd because we have the Faith handed down from the Apostles and Jesus Christ himself. Remember that it is one of you guys that gave us a list of five Pauline verses - a group of four and a single verse - and told us that THIS IS THE GOSPEL.
You guys ask, we give you this answer, you don't like that answer, then ask the question again someplace else and complain that we don't answer it. The truth is that we do - getting an answer that you don't like is not the same as not getting one.
