So it is indeed up to me whether I affirm Salvation (adoption) or reject it based upon the freewill that God gave every person since Adam at the price of Original Sin.

Adam and Eve had a completely free will they could choose to do good or evil. When Adam fell his will was no longer free, it was in bondage to that sin. That is why He hid from God.. His off springs are born like him, with will that will always run and hide from God..

Unsaved men have a will in bondage to self.. it is only the grace of God, a work of the Holy Spirit in regeneration that again gives man an ability to choose not to sin, to no longer be slaves to sin and to desire to see and understand that Christ has saved us from ourselves and our sin
