Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

Do you play the Banjo, or the Guitar?

Neither. Is it of interest?

Obama just hired 97,000 new ‘revenoors’ to enforce his Obamacare regs.

Is that of interest to the snaggletoothed?

Speak for yourself!

I do. My wife rarely lurks but does not ever post, given the contention here.

God’s word says “pray without ceasing,” so I have quite a way to go.

As do I. Unlike some, I do not brag or exaggerate about my 'accomplishments'. God's word says a bunch of other things too; Christians might want to stop focusing on snippets and get back to the Faith handed down from the Apostles.

did you ever read “the way of the pilgrim”? It’s not Catholic. But it is about a man who sought to pray without ceasing.

A worthy consideration.

However, imho, it depends on what the heart attitude is

and toward what . . .

toward the individual’s personhood . . .

or toward the individual’s nonsensical, heretical, irrational, hogwash beliefs.

Do I detect a bit of desperation setting in?

It’s gotta be something finding out that the Church of Christ that you left for something else just might be correct after all...

Sounds like he may be truly led of Holy Spirit in such matters . . . Praise God, if he is.

Perhaps you might wish to view one of his sermons or speeches and give us your opinion.

I don’t recall the ones I looked at.

If it’s the guy I’m thinking of, he made some good Biblical points.

But what if there is an entirely new sort of priesthood? It cannot be utterly unlike OT priesthood or that of the pagans, for if it were no one would use the same word for all three. But it could still be far more unlike those other two than one might be ready to imagine.

Like the sort of priesthood that has the power to remit or retain sins? That has the power to change wafers and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ? And to continue this sacrifice of Christ for the salvation of the world? (Which sounds a LOT like collective salvation, which is unbiblical)

And what about the Church, the body of Christ. Is this the same Catholic Church who professes that the faithful are indeed the body of Christ and that Christ is their head, it also adds that Mary is-

"...the connecting portion the function of which is to JOIN THE BODY TO THE HEAD and to transmit to the body THE INFLUENCES AND VOLITIONS of the head- We mean the neck. Yes, says St. Bernardine of Sienna, "she is THE NECK OF OUR HEAD, by which He COMMUNICATES TO HIS MYSTICAL BODY ALL SPIRITUAL GIFTS." - Ad Diem. Pope Pius X, Ad Diem Illum Laetissimum, no. 13.

Please be clear, because I do not think it is as simple as you suggest in your post. Your priests perform things only Christ can do. And Mary, somehow, has been inserted between the Church the Body of Christ and Christ as Head of the Church. Literally. As the NECK.

Google is also your friend on this in finding information on him. However, you may think ill of his devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary.

"So not all Scripture is equal in your eyes?"

Not in the least. There exists a hierarchy within Scripture that dictates how they relate to and support each other.

The Old Testament was a preparation for the Gospel. It was a pedagogy and a prophecy of things to come. It prophesied and presaged the work of liberation from sin which would be fulfilled in Christ.

The letters of Paul were an epilogue of the Gospels executed at the command of of Jesus to spread the Gospels. When used to communicate the message of the Gospels and to explain the Gospels they have significant meaning and importance. When used and interpreted in the absence of the Gospels they are worse than useless, they are harmful.

Everything after John is used for the purpose it was intended, nothing more.

I used to have one of his CDs. Very good. Loaned it to anyone who would listen. I had read somewhere he had some health issues in the last few years.

"I find this very interesting. You say that without the Gospels, Scriptures are unsupportive. AND YET those same Gospels, that are evidently so revered and followed so fervently by Catholics, have absolutely NO words on Mary worship, (and yes, I can say WORSHIP since your own Pope referred it as worship), priests, praying for the dead, etc. NONE of it is found in the "Gospels".

I have also said that not all of the revealed Word of God is included in Scripture. Apostolic Tradition is an equally valid source of the Revealed Word.
