The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.
The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).
The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.
The Intentions Made Plain
The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:
"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization
"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.
"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.
"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.
"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.
|
Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.
This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!
In Their Own Words
The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.
This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.
Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.
Did you just get religion this week??? The will of the Father is in the 'milk' of the word...Shirley you know the will of the Father has nothing to do with good works...
Its time to repent and stop following the teachings of fallible men.
So what is it then??? The muzlims worship the same God as the Catholics, or the Catholics worship the same God as the muzlims???
They need to work that out with fear and trembling...
“”By turning the value of the gift upside down, they show that the gift is sought, not because of its spiritual value, but because of its display and exhibitionist qualities, and the subsequent claims to spirituality and prestige that are made when a person demonstrates what is said to be the gift “”
Bingo! It is a sign of pride to even ask for such gifts. For someone to think showing up at Charismatic meetings and expecting these gifts at 7pm(or any other time or day) on wednesday prayer meeting is dangerous.
The late Fr William Most did much writing on the topic and observed the following..
“Further, the mass phenomena of praying in tongues does not readily fit
with St. Paul’s injunctions in 1 Cor 14:27-28 where Paul specifies that no
more than two should speak in tongues, and then only one at time, and only
if there is someone to interpret. The rule is wise - there are cases where
persons who knew the needed languages went to a charismatic gathering -
they found some did praise God well, while others cursed Him. And letting
many at a time speak in tongues hardly fits with St. Paul. Yes, I know
they say that there is difference between praying in tongues and speaking
in tongues. The distinction is probably not important. As we said above,
there have been cases where charismatics have been cursing God, without
knowing what they were doing.-Fr William Most
Spiritual gift from are given to the extremely humble who would never ask for them, not ordered up by groups
Paul says he speaks in tongues of men and angels but it is fruitless if he has not charity...What language do the angels speak???
So post the doctrine so we can see it...
Your interpretation leaves much to be desired. The milk of the word is the fruitful exercise of the Father’s Will manifested by those who doing good works. But beware the fundamentalists cults will accuse you of relying on good works instead of faith.
Keep Jesus in you heart.
I didn't interpret anything...I posted scripture...For you to read...Sixth grade English...You mean to tell me you can't understand what the verses say???
Keep Jesus in your heart.
Don't just make it up...Back it up...Where's the scripture???
You made the statement...YOU prove it...Unless of course, you can't...
I do not make private interpretation. It is the realm of the fundamentalist cults who abuse the word of God and pervert the meaning of the sacred word. Pray for these people and avoid being exercised at their duplicity.
Accept Jesus
I suspect that many folks who post here on the Religion Forum are cognizant of the rules and make some effort to operate within them.
It's just like driving a car. You know that if you come to a stop sign, you need to make a full stop before you proceed. Anything less could get you a ticket.
At least, that's how it's done in the United States.
I read an interesting article on Free Republic recently about traffic enforcement in a Scandinavian country. Apparently, there is a set of secret rules that traffic enforcement officials use to enforce the traffic code in this country. Recently, one of this country's courts ruled that these rules didn't have to be produced under a freedom of information request.
When my family read the article with me, we all laughed - gee those zany Scandinavians - they won't even tell you how to obey the law.
Here on the Religion Forum, in the past, it's seemed that the rules were pretty explicit, and although they might have evolved over time, and although folks might have disagreed with them, at least they were always made explicit, and even though they might have a little bit of wiggle-room, really, the rules, especially when viewed in the context of your explicit explanation thereof, were pretty hard-and-fast.
If one took the time to pay attention to what one was posting, one could pretty much figure out what was within the rules, and what was beyond them.
When I look at Natural Law's posting, it seems to be within the rules. The poster didn't call anyone specifically a liar. Not verbally, not through images.
Now, it appears that what you're saying is something along the lines of, “Well, yeah, but it was pretty close to the edge, technically-speaking, and the poster has a bad history, so even if it isn't quite technically against the rules, well, he's going to get zinged for it.”
And now I'm thinking that we have Scandinavian-type rule enforcement.
And it also looks like a pretty huge double-standard. You have a poster herein who regularly says the most horrible things about Catholics, that if he were to specifically address to specific posters in the actual post, would be against the rules. But the contents of the posts never mention any "RC" by name. He merely replies to a given poster with the remarks that appear to be directly aimed at the poster, but which he is careful to address more generally, and adds a list of Catholics to the address line whom he appears to dislike. But I don't see any RM attention on the threads given to this poster's posts, even though the veil on these personal attacks could be measured in nanometers. But technically, the specific posts do not specifically call any specific poster names or otherwise impugns any specific poster directly by name.

Gresham's Law is that bad money drives out good money. Sitetest’s corollary is that bad posts drive out good posts.
sitetest
INDEED.
It’s usually at least slightly amusing to read some idiot pontificate about tongues without the least bit of solid understanding between their ears.
Obviously that WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING (KJV)
has been jerked out of the Vatican Rubber Bible.
Sigh.
Fraid it is and sadly you no longer have the power to burn them at the stake. Tch Tch.
Where’s the wailing baby gif. Looks like there’s a call for it just above! LOL.
Gads . . . the cheekiness of the rabid cliques seems endless.
Never satisfied without every drop of Proddy blood they can spill while denying spilling any! LOL.
. . . though I realize they are MOSTLY interested in Proddy blood types Q and E! LOL.
They seem to never tire of !!!!DEMANDING!!!! that FR be made over in the Vatican’s image AND made a certified official arm of the Papal office.
What arrogance!
I’m beginning to think some folks have been busy collecting all the white hankys they could find and stuffing them in one ear until they come out the other.
Rumor has it they then feel so “holy” they feel light headed.
Small wonder!
It’s clear that the muslims worship satan.
It’s Catholic doctrine that Catholics worship the same deity as the muslims.
Either they do worship the same deity or their pope is mistaken . See the Vatican II papers
Okay, thanks.
