Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

I dont disagree with any of that, and to tell you the truth, I really dont expect anyone here to offer any good reasons for what is happening, but denying that it is happening is dishonest. It's a huge movement, a tidal wave in fact.

It's appeal is to the educated (what's left ofthe middle class)and to the young, so it's not going away.

It can bring chaos and I think that's what you're going to see a lot of, before it's all over

yes, that’s one opinion, now how about all the other opinions, all Catholic, starting their own churches, letting clergy marry, speaking in tongues, throwing out the rosary and statues, etc. refocusing on Christ, -— they say they’re right too. and which is right?

Go up a level at that site WOW they don't like Charismatics there. There are some people around here (and I won't name them so I don't have to ping them) who would go absolutely hog in a trough wild on the apparitions page. They don't like Medjugorje, Garabandal, Ave Maria University, the Legion of Christ... they don't like a LOT of stuff there. I may have to dig around and see what all turns up. Betcha they don't think much of Protestantism either...

So, Calvinists are intercessors between their fellow man and the Triune God?

Living, breathing men are instructed by God to pray for our fellow men to the Triune God alone.

Prayer is for our benefit. It brings us closer to God. It reminds us how dependent we are on Him for everything. It reminds us other men share our burdens. It reminds us to be kind and empathetic as Christ was kind and empathetic.

do you think God doesn't know what we or other men need? That He has to be informed of that fact by us?

"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." -- Matthew 6:7-8

So if God already knows our prayers and what we need, why do we still ask Him for them? To make sure we know what we need and from whom all blessings flow.

But D-Fender...you are speaking of paganism and Egyptian gods and the like...and although Israel adopted some of these while in Egypt God was very clear not to include them in their worship of Him. He was not to be represented as the pagan Gods were in any shape manner of form.

Since we have been grafted into the “vine” Israel and are now also called his..though we are not under their laws I see nothing in scripture where man was to incorporate idols nor images...in fact the new testament continues with the theme not to do this.

That reply reads to me like another rephrase of:

“I don’t know an icon from an idol, but I know a Catholic when I see one.”

Do you think pagans believe their prayers are being heard by the inanimate statue of Isis they’re praying to or the spirit of Isis which that statue represents?
NO ONE says Rome believes that cement and marble are hearing their prayers. The lie Rome teaches is that what the cement and marble represent hears and answers their prayers - some dead person who may or may not be in heaven.

Which is false. No one and nothing hears and answers our prayers but God alone.

WELL PUT.

THX.

Yes, because they were used as an analog for definitional purposes. I tried to illustrate through this example the two parts of the commandments under discussion: idols and other gods.

Idols are prohibited - even to our God. Other gods are prohibited - with or without idols.

My post was an attempt to define and delineate the commandments using the example given of Isis. It also applies to us. No idols, no other gods. We must understand what these mean if we hope to follow the commandments.

The point is about creating a false statement with which the Church can continually be bludgeoned

Bible-believing Christians on FR continually offer evidence from the Roman Catholic catechism, encyclicals and writings from popes, various church fathers and other Roman Catholic apologists.

If you take exception to that evidence, then get some new evidence. Try the Bible.

Calvinists are sworn icon breakers.

AMEN! Thanks for noticing.

The means by which it is done is not important, the ends justify the means.

Well, that's certainly not true. The Scriptures are the means which prove the truth of Christianity. Read them yourself. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide your understanding.

Nothing done in the advancement of Calvinism and the defense of the elect is really a sin to them.

What sin are Calvinists committing by putting God's word into evidence? Rome can't refute the word of God, so Rome substitutes "icons" and dead saints and co-redeemers and co-mediators and "another Christ" in place of the truth found in Scripture.

my mail box here and I’m sure others are too, is constantly filled with prayer requests. And despite rumors to the contrary, I dont ask if their babies are baptized, illegitimate or even Islamic. We pray, to God, in Christ’s name

IMhO,

you are one of the more faithful prayer warriors in others’ behalf!

Well these days how can you tell a Catholic when you see one? Are they the ones with the Mary icons, going to the traditional church, or are they the ones in the Pentecostal Catholic church, tossing out the Mary icons? What about if they are seen in a Catholic church praying during mass in tongues and prophesying? they claim to be Catholic too.

This is getting to be too confusing. Are there now 140 million popes?
