It is . We purposely scheduled intestinal tests when my intestines were reacting.
What I would love, and just doesn’t come for the asking, is to find some medical center somewhere that deals with allergies, check in to the hospital, and EAT. Eat a real meal and then react for them under medical supervision so they can record it, and see it and test during it.
There’s the hope that maybe that would show something up as it would catch it while it’s happening.
Every time I’ve had a reaction, by the time I make it to the doctor (or ER) the symptoms are almost gone. So I get packed off with yet another prescription for Prenisone and told to keep on the antihistamines.
The medical community, however, in general does not like to deal with things that do not have nice, neat, tidy solutions.
The standard response of *Well, just stay away from foods you react to* doesn’t cut it any more.
