What I would love, and just doesn’t come for the asking, is to find some medical center somewhere that deals with allergies, check in to the hospital, and EAT. Eat a real meal and then react for them under medical supervision so they can record it, and see it and test during it.

There’s the hope that maybe that would show something up as it would catch it while it’s happening.

Every time I’ve had a reaction, by the time I make it to the doctor (or ER) the symptoms are almost gone. So I get packed off with yet another prescription for Prenisone and told to keep on the antihistamines.

The medical community, however, in general does not like to deal with things that do not have nice, neat, tidy solutions.

The standard response of *Well, just stay away from foods you react to* doesn’t cut it any more.

Bumping this. I hope someone on this prayer thread will tell some doctors that they know, of various specialties. I might know someone at UCLA that might be curious to help you. I'd have to ask. Where are you located?

From my own experience....The medical community know sheet about the problem...One of my medical folders is two inches thick...I've seen em all.

It was the grace of God that gave us some of the answers (we , my dear personal Dr and I) are still learning how my body works.

Was drinking coffee with friends, had a reaction, Only thing in the cup was coffee, sugar and artificial creamer.
Experimented for a few days with other foods etc and discovered it was soy in creamer, and margarine, and salad dressing and....then my BIL reminded me that when he worked for Central SOya 22 out of 23 food scientist had said soy was NOT good for American people...and they fired all 22 and promoted soy.

At that time I tried using the celiac diet to determine what else my gut reacted to....It starts out with just rice....and then a book fell into my hands about eating God made food not man made.....

We are still fighting the yeast (It's manifesting itself in a different way now) which was first created by large dosages of antibiotics that kept me alive from a couple of bouts of Strepticacamilleria. Finally had gall bladder out and it's gone.

Since I've started the D3, no longer have seasonal allergies or sinus problems.

WHen yeast is present, sugar become elevated...am currently working with the Glycemic Index to keep the carbs low=sugar low...It'w worked buest for me but the local nutritionist says that even though it's been used in Europe for decades the American people aren't smart enought to use it....She doesn't know sheet either!
