Why do you say that assumptions are not biblical when Enoch and Elijah were assumed into heaven bodily?
Just becuase there isn’t a sotry about Mary being assumed bodily into heaven in the Bible?

You are so right. God has no time or space. Christ walked through doors, appeared in different places after his Resurrection.
We cannot confine God, Christ or the saints to time and space.

Absolutely. I bet one of the reasons a lot of doubt comes about is that we get into the habit of applying our human understanding of reality to the unlimited understanding and ability of the Holy Spirit.

Well, as is well known, there is, from the point of view of the Church, NO SUCH thing. That was Protestant Lingo on an open thread. Baptized Catholic and attending Mass, if somewhat irregularly, but more frequently than many, doesn’t qualify, or if my 3rd century doctrine is too offensive, so be it. I can stay off the “Caucus” threads if you wish and save said discourse for the thicker skinned threads. I honestly did not know the differences. PAX

I always figured she was zapped out of our space/time continuum or into another universe.
And like Jesus, or Enoch, or Elijah the body didn’t die but was tranformed into what our bodies will be after the last resurrection.
