"Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother." "Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today." "All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother."

On a previous thread, I asked the Catholics in this forum to comment on this. I didn't get any takers. What say you, Catholics? Do all graces pass through Mary?

Do all graces pass through Mary?

It's axiomatic -- all one has to do is ponder it honestly.

That, of course, is the rub.

“Graces from God” only pass through Him, Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

But non-deities like Mary and Paul surely were capable of, at one time, showing God’s Love, Mercies, and Truth.

However, I know you Catholics think people in Heaven can do all sorts of things for you. Who’s your Patron Saint of Lotto?

I went to Catholic High School.

But, this stuff is the one reason I am an EX Catholic. So many things does the Church rightly. So many errors and scandals doth cover it.

For shame.

“As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, ‘Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.’ He replied, ‘Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.’ “ Luke 11: 27-28

God the Father and Jesus, her Son, love Mary so that they can refuse her nothing. It doesn’t hurt to have her in your corner when you pray, and she certa1nly can shower you with grace.

Without malice, I disagree. I encourage you to find in Scripture, the Word of God, any text that demonstrates there is any other mediator between man and God besides Jesus Christ. 1 Tim 2:5

Also Jesus sent His Comforter - the Holy Spirit, NOT Mary, to guide us.

I would call it heresy to suggest otherwise.

no. NO graces pass through anyone. Our relationship is direct with God/Christ/Holy Spirit.

Mary was NOT divine.

You are always a Catholics, once you are baptized a Catholic. You can come back to the church at any time.

BTW, Catholics ask Mary to pray for them.

You’ve asked someone to pray for you, haven’t you?

So what’s so terrible about that?

Please find a priest you can sit down with and talk and get your questions answered.

We will welcome you back with open arms.

~ PRAYER ~

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we  humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
 by the power of God,
Cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
 Amen

I come from a Catholic background but now a non-denom! While I love the Catholic Faith and many of its participants just can’t recite the ‘Hail Mary’ prayer-—and over and over again incessantly. Kinda makes me bonkers!
However absolutely love the ministry of the “Priests for Life”......take the gems and just pass on what doesn’t resonate within.

At one time. Yes. When they LIVED.

All the dead in Christ are united with Christ outside of time and space in eternity, at the same instant.

People are not up in heaven "doing stuff" now. The dead SLEEP in this continuum, and are raised at the last trump along with the Raptured all in the same immortal instant.

So for the person, the soul, the conscious sentient being, death, and resurrection happen INSTANTLY. And they happen AT the last Trumpet.

All the saints, all together, from Stephen the first to the very last person to die 2 seconds before the Rapture, we all "get to heaven" THEN.

The only people IN heaven who were NOT created there, are the Old Testament Saints who died BEFORE Jesus. From Able to the Thief on the Cross. THEY are in heaven now and "doing stuff".

Jesus went to the Abrahams bosom and freed those there and took them with him into Heaven. Closed the gates of Hell and only the wicked go there now.

All Christians are dead, in the ground. We all, dead and live alike, await Christ’s return, where “the dead in Christ will rise first”.

We are NOT to pray to other human beings, inclusive of Mary. This is dangerous theology.

I just love this part. Every time you post it. It sounds so...well...innocent...

The only way to God is through Jesus.

And through whom did Jesus come?

Come on, man! You're putting a bullseye on yourself!

It would have been nice if Padre Pio had explained this statement on the web page you present. Without explanation, even as a Catholic I have to say no, all the Grace of God does not pass through Mary.

No, this is "dangerous theology," and I wonder what authority you can cite for your Commandment.
