The Taliban executed a pregnant widow. She was a widow but accused of becoming pregnant after her husband's death. Sanam Gul was accused of adultery in western Afghanistan, and shot in the head for her alleged crime on Saturday.
Sanam Gul, also known as Sanam Bibi, was 47-years-old. She was killed in Badghis province Saturday morning, said Ashrafuddin Majidi, the provincial governor's spokesman, according to CNN.
Qades, Hashim Habibi, confirmed the execution. The woman stood accused of adultery, but not confirmed. Habbi said, "The woman was accused of adultery that left her pregnant. The Taliban shadow district governor, Mullah Abdul Hakim, and his judge ordered the woman to be executed."
Mohammad Yousuf, a Taliban commander, shot the woman in the head.

I’m guessing that gay marriage is out of the question over there.
These are the thugs whom Michael Moore called “freedom fighters”.
Another episode in the religion of peace
I am sorry for my intolerance, but these people are sick!
Animals.
Any one of these vermin even suspected of being linked to Taliban needs to be exterminated on the spot.
Damned cowards!
Turns out it may have been the best thing to do.
I’m guessing the guy involved didn’t get shot.
I hope our guys are getting the thrill of their lives wasting this crud.
Is shooting a pregnant woman in the head something every Muslim man has on his bucket list, or just the Taliban and Shiites?
I suppose if you can’t get your hands on a missionary dentist or optomitrist, you’ll have to settle for a pregnant widow.
Islam, the religion American Liberals embrace and tolerate, with their Coexist bumper sticker mentality.
Makes me sick. Long ago I was an idealist. Now I know that some people are just very bad animals. You can’t rehabilitate them, I am sure. Should you try, they will behead you, and use your money for weapons.
Such brave warriors of islam. But they are only following their devil-god.
Christianity
But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
“No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” (John 8:1-11)
Islam
There came to him (the Holy Prophet) a woman from Gamid and said: Allahs Messenger, I have committed adultery, so purify me. He (the Holy Prophet) turned her away. On the following day she said: Allahs messenger, why do you turn me away? ... By Allah I have become pregnant. He said Well, if you insist upon it, then go away until you give birth. When she was delivered she came with the child (wrapped) in a rag, and said Here is the child whom I have given birth to. He said Go away and suckle him until you wean him. When she had weaned him, she came to him (the Holy Prophet) with the child who was holding a piece of bread in his hand. She said Allahs Apostle, here is he as I have weaned him and he eats food. He (the Holy Prophet) entrusted the child to one of the Muslims and then pronounced punishment. And she was put in a ditch up to her chest and he commanded people and they stoned her. (Sahih Muslim 4206)
