The word “Credo” in Latin/Spanish, etc. has always meant “I believe.”

It is so wonderful to be getting back to the original meanings and translations for Masses said in English! Be happy!

The word “Credo” in Latin/Spanish, etc. has always meant “I believe.”

And for years, I've been quietly saying "I believe" instead of "We believe" during the Creed at Novus Ordo masses. Soon thankfully I will no longer be in "dissent" in continuing this practice ;-)
