(many of whom are probably lying),

Speaking of bigotry..

Why not just wish them well, and be free of the burden of having them in your head?

"But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, or handling the word of God deceitfully: but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost." (2 Cor. 4:2,3).

How can an opinion that many of the self-porclaimed former Catholics on FR are actually lying about it be bigotry? Bigotry is based on prejudice, it has nothing to do with dishonesty. Yes, I believe that there are FReepers who claim to have been Catholics and are lying about it (I have good reasons for this, but there's no reason to get into it). If it makes you feel better, I'm sure there are plenty of Catholics on here that have lied about various things.

Who? The Catholics who were so impressed with the anti-Catholics on here that they decided to become Protestants? Have you found anyone that will come forward as a member of this elusive group?
