Again, I understand the rationale behind the title but I prefer "Mother of the Incarnate Word" because it does not require footnotes.

So, why exactly would Quix claim that Mary is the mother of God the Father?

That is blasphemous -- the Church teaches that Mary is the Mother of God the Son, Jesus Christ and yet she was also created by Him

You agree that Incarnate Word = Jesus Christ = God, the Son, right?

Hence the term Mother of God, the Son is logically, factually and spiritually correct.
