What’s the difference between God and God Almighty?
MOST FOLKS I KNOW
construe
GOD to = GOD ALMIGHTY
or . . . as a collective term for The Trinity.
RC’s get slippery and absurd with the term to justify calling Mary the Mother of GOD.
OF COURSE JESUS IS GOD.
THAT’S NEVER AN ISSUE.
Casting Mary as the MOTHER OF GOD
is essentially, in context, false advertising. It is deceptive, disingenuous, false,
and carries all manner of nuances that are UNBIBLICAL and worse.
I can’t imagine ever feeling comfortable with the term. It sets my spirit on edge as a manipulation, a verbal slight of hand, a seductive trick.
Dreadful.
It comes across
as a VERY BRAZEN VERBAL, LINGUISTIC MANIPULATION
TO GIVE THE CARICATURED MARY PERSONAGE
A BOOST—AN UNWARRANTED, UNBIBLICAL BOOST
TOWARD UNWARRANTED, UNBIBLICAL ELEVATION
above that of simple, humble, obedient Believer—which is all the Bible ever casts her as.
Peter, all the greats in Scripture and every recorded example of any angelic visitations ALWAYS DECLINED even HINTS of such elevations.
One would think the RCC would take the hint.
WRONG!
