I agree! Like I said, there had to be truth before there was a lie. My point was simply that the truth of the triune nature of God had already been revealed and was known and believed by Christians way before the council of Nicea was called. That the council WAS needed to put in writing what was supposed to be the revealed truth of God only cemented the doctrine and was obviously necessary because of the heretical teachings of those who either were ignorant of Scripture or flat out rejected what God had already revealed.
Applying a label to a concept is not creating the concept.
The so called early church fathers didnt pull it out of thin air. They had to get it from somewhere and they obviously got it from Scripture, the same Scripture that so many Catholics today fail to recognize as authoritative.
