God bless you for your untiring efforts to explain this from a theological perspective. What beats me is that they won’t listen to even dry, historical facts — they will jump the topic. shoot-and-run, shoot-and-run, no attempt to really discuss a topic,

I sure have enjoyed reading the posts here from other Catholics.

And your post rings true from my perspective as well.

FWIW.

Has the anti Catholics who claim they are here to save those of us of the Catholic faith have one FReeper Soul that has left the Church due to all there FRefforts?

If so Prove it? (as they commonly post)

On another Catholic note I just want to let those who want the happenings direct from Rome there is a great online newsletter called Zenit, but I am sure that is well known.

And of course there is EWTN tv/radio broadcast.

That is a favorite of mine as a non theologian but a regular Catholic Joe who wants to learn more about the history/arts/apologetics ect.

Nothing like listening to Fr.Corapi Preach it when feeling like a spiritual mud pit is coming on.

I am not a sports fan at all but I really enjoy Crossing the Line.

It is our family tradition started by KV years ago to give up tv for the Lenten season except for EWTN.

That proves for us to be a great cleansing/fast for our souls.

A 40+ day retreat.

A non Catholic Friend just came back from Rome and brought us a DVDpack “the history of the Vatican”.

So much great info from reliable to truth about our faith/history ect.

And I know you guys know about Salvations ping list.
Some of Salvations threads are for those who are well advanced in their Catholic education, IMHO.

Yet if you are homebound she does Post Daily Mass.

I was sharing some of the silly stuff about this thread with KV.
I asked him how many times as a family have we listened to the KJ version of the Bible on audio cassette (and now CD because we wore the other out over the years and ended up giving it to are garbage man to listen to as a new to the Christian faith and soon to be a Dad at the time).

Well we figure about 7 times.

So much for the Catholics don't read the Bible theory.

And when Father come to give us Holy Communion what is that he reads? Why by golly Scripture from the Holy Bible.

Then lastly we have the Catholic family Bible at our side to crack open anytime we need Word Dude.

Rather simple, esp in our busy family life.

God first, KV care second and Country third.
Speaking of first shift of KV care is calling (thank you Lord it wasn't at 4am again) so this simple Catholic persons gotta go serve and give thanks to God for another day!
