Not sure what youre talking about,... Let me offer a quick summary.
After the aristocrats took a dominant role in the RCC the idea that others may wish to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ differently was not tolerable. The control freaks at the RCC insist that unity in Christianity must be through them. It's not enough to trust the Holy Spirit will sort it all out, they are fixated on taking on that role.

Nah, your reading of history is wrong. the Aristocrats supported the various Protestant groups as it allowed them to break away from the Holy Roman Emperor and now OWN their subjects body and soul. Just like Henry 8 and the little German princelings and the magistrates at Geneva discovered, once you concentrated spiritual control in the hands of temporal rulers, you could do as you pleased.
The Anabaptists and their later descendents the Baptists didn't get any kings supporting them, true, so they were persecuted in England, Switzerland, France, GErmany, etc
