Though, of course, these aren't brethern except in very loose terms. Three of you believe that Justification cannot be lost. One believes that it can be lost based on sin. In basic soteriology, you have considerable differences. In practise, there are substantial differences. In BELIEF there are substantial differences.

Though I don't doubt you are knowledgable about faiths and religions, I can't quite figure out how you see your role in implimenting this caucus-to-be. Do you want to paricipate or do you really only want to see it never get lifted off the ground so you are throwing all kinds of obstacles in the way. Of what are you afraid anyway? Do you not think Protestants have anything of value to discuss with the Orthodoxy? I'm sure we could do a good job and it would be a quite interesting venture. No harm in trying is there?

What caucus?? I responded to your post 1700 by pointing out that in soteriology a Calvinist like wmfights (Baptist), Dr, E (Presbyterian) and you (am I right that you are Calvinist? Apologies if I am wrong) have little to nothing in common at a fundamental Christian soteriological level with a Pent-e-costal like Quix.

You do not have the same idea of Justification, of Redemption or Salvation.

You do share the same concept as you do with the Apostolic Church in the tenets of the Nicene or Athanasian Creed (Which encapsulates Christian beliefs), but that is a generic commonality for all Christians and what differentiates us from JWs, Mormons, Muslims, etc.

Beyond that, for some group following Calvin's tradition, there is little to no commonality at a basic, fundamental Christian level with a group that follows the Wesleyan Tradition (the pent-e-costals arose from Methodism), other than a statement that you do not come to The Church.

Furthermore, you would have NOTHING in common with those who deny the basic tenets encapsulated in the Creed. You have nothing in common with those who deny the divinity of Christ or who consider that Christ had only ONE nature or who consider that Christ was mortal but the spirit "took ahold of him" and then left him on the cross. With those groups and those posters, what commonality can you have?

You have far more commonality with the Apostolic Church than with those posters.
