"It’s made itself the instrument of salvation."

And that is why you are a failed Catholic.

Glad you put the grin in there or I would have been pinging the RM. Have you read his new rules?

If anyone has failed, it’s the Catholic church itself.

It’s failed all those people who left it for not teaching them *properly*.

I just provide links to what the Catholic church itself sayd, from the only source that you have said that you consider reliable for Catholic church doctrine.

If it doesn’t mean what it says, then they shouldn’t say it.

This is exactly the kind of misrepresentative response which is guaranteed to perpetuate the strife on this forum.

I tried to get you to behave like a decent, civilized human being, but you're just not having it.

I'm done responding to you. I'm just not that into futility.

Have you read the re-write that the RM did of the Religion Forum rules? You might want to.

The Catholic Church is not a cult. Otherwise there would not be 22 Catholic Rites.

The Roman Catholic rite is only one of them.

Did you tear all of the sixth chapter of the Gospel of John out of your Bible? Or just from verse 48 on? It’s a hard saying. He lost a lot of disciples over that.

10-4!”St. Paul tells us that when pagans observed the Christian community, their response was: “See how they love one another.” When I look at this forum, my reaction is “What the hell is wrong with these people?” I brought up once without love your an empty cymbal from the epistles. The guy shows me once saved always saved “verse”. Thats it I guess you can then hate and God will figure it out for you . It’s like your not responsible any more. A Strange Christianity!

Have you never heard of the Communion of Saints? Most Christians believe in it.

Besides, would any good Jewish boy refuse a request from his Mother? LOL

And I understand. Perfectly. Those are all things the Catholic Church teaches. What do you think the Reformation was about? But I understand. It’s not about truth. It’s about every other thing.

I don't expect people to be perfect in their behavior. But you're using their imperfections to excuse deliberately tormenting and lying about others.

I'm not having it. If we're not at least striving for charity, we're failing in our mission to convert the world. There's no excuse for that.

You said earlier that people are passionate about their faith. That's very true. For those of us who take it seriously, it's the single most important thing in our lives. That is why it is such a serious wound to inflict on someone when you insult their faith. All the more reason to be temperate and above-all accurate in your speech. St. Paul recommends that too.

But if you want to continue to defend the indefensible, I can't stop you. I can only point out the absurdity and pointlessness of it.

So, fine. Bash away. The decent, civilized people who wish to interact in peace with each other will find better things to do with their time, and the forum will attract more bashers. Things will just continue to degerate into the cesspool it's well on its way to becoming. And an opportunity will be squandered, stepped-on, and dragged through the mud.

The sacrifice of animals and such was not to be done by Christians, that is why no longer were the sacrifices of animals and their blood to be done....and “strangled animals” which is the reference to the not proper way Jewish”Kosher” killing of animals properly for food.

For the complete quotation of Mathew’s scripture:
Mathew 16:26...”while they were eating, Jesus took the bread, said the blessing and broke it and giving it to his disciples said,’Take and eat; this is my body. Then he took a cup, gave thanks andgave it to them, saying’ Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.”

and there you have it...What would be the point of the Last Supper and the Risen Christ who IS ALIVE AMONG US NOW if not for this message to us to celebrate his passion, death that unites us?

The Last supper sure was more than a ‘Bon Voyage “ party..and I do not see the significance of this event as much in other churches as in Catholic churches.

It is. So what? I have friends who are not Catholic who graduated from BC.

BARNA’s Doctorate, and that is the money word, is from a BAPTIST institution. Ten to one it’s theology (and Protestant) although I haven’t checked that far.

The fact is that BARNA is a Protestant group promoting a particular viewpoint and cannot be unbiased.

It is a PROTESTANT organization dedicated to church planting.

No, you don't understand at all.

Your post is a compendium of malicious falsehoods, all of which have been refuted time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time again on this forum.

It's precisely because it is about truth that I'm not going to bother replying to you again. Surely at least one of those demonstrations of how deeply you misunderstand what you're talking about would have sunk in by now.

But no. Apparently nothing I can say, no citation from the Catechism or any other source which explains what Catholic actually believe, rather than what you would have us belive, will make the slightest bit of difference.

There's just no point in continuing to talk past one another in this way. So I'm done. May God enlighten your mind and infuse you with His grace.

“..but He is no longer bound to that..”

Clearly he is also no longer bothered by the Truth, nor are you if you attach yourself (as you have here) to his lies. Very sad to see such a public apostasy.
