I'd invite him to "swim the Tiber", but if he doesn't believe what the CC teaches it would be dishonest of him to join, and dishonest of us to accept him.
I’m at work, so I don’t have the quote in front of me and I’m not sure where he wrote it, but C.S. Lewis wrote that the most immediate thread to Christianity was secular humanism. I have a feeling that very few believed him at the time, but the past half century has proven him to be 100% accurate.
