TOP PRIORITY U.S. MILITARY REPORT CLAIMS “APOCALYPTIC CHRISTIANS” MAY POSE SERIOUS THREAT TO WORLD PEACE
(This may also relate to a segment of the population’s beliefs in “UFOs” and “aliens”)

Let us pray for such an anointing of the Spirit that we may be salve to those who chafe and are irritated.
Let's stipulate that. May we then conclude from the 2x4 blows we've taken, that the liberal, nay, generous use of 2x4s is an indication that the meek and humble of heart swinger of clubs thinks he is addressing arrogant self-righteous people?
In this thread I've seen what comes down to the U, I, and P of TULIP used as justification for being cruel and abrasive in argumentation. "If God wants to save someone, I can't possibly stop Him, so I get a free pass to be ... 'as nasty as I wanna be!'"
And now the humble and meek make the claim that they are abusive because they are following Jesus, while the arrogant who p[lead for gentleness deserve judgment and abuse.
Excuse me, I think I have a timber in my eye. I'll be back in a minute or two.
And as a general observation, does anybody else find it amusing that a lot of people are scurrying to the Scriptures to find justification for the "as nasty as I wanna be" evangelical technique?
I'm wonder about how the words about causing little ones to stumble can be spun into justifying the kind of rhetoric we see here too often.
If I had something important to say to someone likely to disagree, I wouldn't start by misrepresenting his disagreement and by calling him names. But that's just me.
Evidently some think that it is so much in God's hands whether the message is heard that they can use evangelism as an excuse for abuse. If you're offended, it's because you're predestined to hell. It's not OUR fault.
HA HA HA HO HEE HAW!!!!!!!
In 1963 at Milton Academy, the same illustrious New England Prep School that Teddy Kennedy attended, I went storming into the headmaster's office to complain about anti-semitic harassment three upperclassmen were inflicting on a Jewish freshman.
The headmaster refused to act saying, "Usually there are lots of reasons for labels and labeling," or words very similar to those.
So (the argument continues) I might as well be "as nasty as I wanna be." God's providence gives me a free pass!
And, it wold seem to follow, Paul was wasting his effort being all things to all people.
22b I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.If only had read and understood his own writings, he could have had a much easier ministry, poor guy.
23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Not.
You wrote: "What do you seem to think I am lying about, if anything?"
I reply: I put "you" in quotes to make clear that I was not speaking of reaganaut personally, but of a person in the abstract, while maintaining parallelism with your (you, personally, reaganaut) phrasing in the post to which I replied.
Put differently, for clarity: When a person speaks an outright lie, someone WILL be offended.
Once again, for emphasis: Offensiveness is not a guarantor, or even a good indicator, of correctness.
It gets better. Finish reading the thread.

Ha!!
Boldness, forcefulness, and righteous anger have their place; but wrongly applied they become intemperate and indiscreet zeal...

Sometimes meek, shy, retiring, and just trying to get along, can be just as effective as lukewarm puke.
Revelation 3:15
I know what you have done, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.
Just like in Animal Farm; some are more restored than others...
There are those called by Him to “fight” for the faith....and against the wiles of the devil. When Christ cleared the temple area He did not say excuse me nor did he gently tip over the “tables”.....he cried out and that with a whip in His hand. He called them “thieves”....because that is what they were and what they were doing.....so too those who do the bidding of counterfeit Christianity and their leader who is the “Father of lies”...
Soft hearted people have a difficult time understanding those called to such a mission. They always will. But likewise those who have been called as such have difficulty understanding why the family of believers aren't doing more against the foe.
Some are called to break down the barriers and walls, others to build those up in the faith. Just like EMTS in an emergency situation are yelling and carrying on ..... and then transport those to the hospital where others see then to the healing. Do not mistake Gods use of people for that which He has called them too. Especially those Called to be on the front lines of the battle....where it can be a bloody mess and injuries occur to both sides....Truth will always be fought and that battle is fierce......given he who is the Father of lies and the tactics he uses we should not fear nor be hesitant to dispel his lies in the ‘Power” and might of the Lords’ Spirit.
According to data from SLC headquarters, about 60,000 or 53,000 or maybe 52,000 MORMONs go out DAILY to do battle with folks in their own homes.
We 'ANTIs' (as we are so lovingly called) are a mere handful; but then; how many did Gideon end up with?
Different 'they's.
The first are the MEMBERs; the second are the BELIEFs.
My pleasure...
We DO know that JS did NOT use the 'method' when the two DEMONS talked to him!
If they have any misery it is for those trapped and fallen, for those battles fought hard and mighty only to see the victim run back to the enemies camp. But the victories of those who come out are sweet and souls are rescued...they know how to celebrate Christ's victories in this, and with it are humbled for having been an instrument in God's hand.
This is not a life of misery at all in how you define it....rather one of great Joy for having made a difference in the Lord's work to seek and save those who have fallen.
